Oliver "Bloom4Eva" Alexander is an Ultimate Bayonetta player with a strong Mii Brawler secondary from Peterborough, England. They are considered both Europe's best Bayonetta player and one of its best Mii Brawler players. They were ranked 68th in LumiRank 2024.1.
Biography
[edit]Bloom4Eva began their competitive career in late 2019 at the age of 14. During the COVID-19 pandemic, they participated in numerous online events, and notably won the European qualifier for the Smash World Tour 2021 (although they did not compete in the Regional Finals despite their qualification). From August 2021 onwards, Bloom4Eva resumed playing in offline tournaments in the United Kingdom, quickly establishing themselves as one of the best players in the country.
In July 2022 at age 16, they entered the supermajor COLOSSEL 2022, their first event outside the United Kingdom. They defeated Glutonny, Mr.R, and quiK among others to take 4th place, making them the highest placing European of the tournament.
On October 2, 2022, Bloom4Eva won their first major, Vienna Challengers Arena 2022, notably 3-0ing Abadango's Meta Knight in Winners Finals using Mii Brawler, and double-eliminating Glutonny to take 1st place without losing a set. Later that month, they would once again be the highest-placing European at a major tournament, placing 5th at L'Odyssée after losses to Tea and Paseriman. They notably won sets against Fatality and Mr. R with Bayonetta, and also 3-0'd Shuton with Mii Brawler.
Bloom4Eva joined BMS ESPORTS on November 11, 2022.[1]
