Cecilia by The Paper Shelter Digital Stamps

Hello friends!  The theme this week on The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog is

BOWS and/or PINK

I wanted to incorporate both a bow and pink colours on my DT card.  Since I love all shades of pink, it was a no brainer for me.  I chose the beautiful Cecilia image by The Paper Shelter Digital Stamps.

I coloured this lovely lady with my trusty Copic markers, and I drew a simple background for her.

Bluebird by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps

Hello friends!  Are you ready for Christmas?  I am good to go.  It's snowing right now so it's already beginning to look like a winter wonderland.  Perfect!

Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps is having a December giveaway on Facebook where someone will win one stamp set of their choice free each month for 2022.  That is truly amazing!  Here is my entry:

I used the beautiful "Bluebird" digital image by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps.  I coloured it with Copic markers.  The flower on the top left is handmade.  I added tiny pieces of 3-D foam to the flower and the foliage for added dimension.

Thanks so much for visiting.  I wish you and your loved ones a Merry Christmas, and a healthy and Happy New Year.  Hugs, Lori xx

Pepper with Flowers

Hello, dear peeps!   I hope my American friends had a wonderful Thanksgiving.  It's so cold here.  Just 3 degrees when I woke up this morning.  I am showcasing my DT card today which I made for Conie Fong's monthly challenge on Facebook.  The theme this month is "Gratitude".
This adorable image is Conie Fong's "Pepper with Flowers", found here:

What a cute and versatile image!  I used Copic markers and FC Polychromos pencils to colour it.  There are enough flowers in the image so I didn't include any - LOL!  I did make the pinwheel bow.
That's all from me today.  Have a lovely day!  Lori P xx

Lavender Adventure Night

Hello, crafty friends!

Ching-Chou Kuik's monthly Facebook Challenge is going on now.  The theme is "Recycle". https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=oa.1788141307888835&type=3 I just love to alter liquor bottles with interesting shapes.  So, I decided to alter a Frangelico bottle for my DT project.  This bottle is shaped like a friar in his habit.  So cool! This is what I started with:

I applied gesso as a base over the entire bottle and then painted over it with acrylic paint.  Using glittered paper, I cut out 3 die cuts using Tonic Studio's "Star Trail Die".  I applied  Mod Podge (matte finish) over the bottle before applying the die cuts and the image.  The leaves are from La-La Land Crafts "Open Leaf Flourish Die".

The gorgeous image is "Lavender Adventure Night" by Ching-Chou Kuik, found here:  https://www.etsy.com/listing/197620336/lavender-adventure-night-digital-stamp?ref=shop_home_active_14 and also here along with two other beautiful images:   https://www.etsy.com/listing/628948705/intro-price-little-darling-animal-set?ref=shop_home_active_2

Here is what the back looks like:

I coloured the image with Copic markers and FC Polychromos pencils.  The flower is handmade.  Lace, pearl borders, necklace, charms and beads are from my stash.

Bootiful Bouquet

Hello!  Last week I posted a beautiful image by Conie Fong called "Garden Bouquet" which has gorgeous flowers in a watering can.  This time, I am sharing my GD card featuring Conie Fong's fabulous image called "Bootiful Bouquet" which has gorgeous flowers in  garden boots. You can find this lovely image here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/594284066/digital-stamp-digi-stamp-digistamp-conie?ref=shop_home_active_2
I've always loved flowers in different receptacles. So, without further delay, here is my card:

As always, I used a combination of Copic markers and FC Polychromos pencils.   I thought it would be fun to make some 3-D flowers which mimic the ones on the image.  The doily behind the flowers is Memory Box's "Quinn Flourish".

Have a happy day!  Lori P xx
