    Superman on Brand

This has always been a fave/memorable episode, probably because it's so on brand for a Superman vs magic storyline. Fun, whacky, goes hard in places (Lex and the piano? Ow). Also, a couple of absolute banger/memorable moments, like Lana's reaction to Lois's non-virgin hair "Oh no, that won't do at all :/" lmao If you find the idea of Lana Lang being the descendant of a witch or Lois getting possessed as 'silly', hate to break it to you but that was the whole brand of superboy comics' storylines, there was always something whack going on in Smallville. The storyline's integration with the kryptonian 'stones' storyline is also a clever tie in to Superman. Straight fire here, wish they'd done magical stories like this sooner. Also, love the girls getting to act as different characters for a bit. Hell yeah.

    Most Fun!

This was the most fun episode of Smallville to date. Almost every one has its playful side, but this season has been a bit more heavy handed, so this was really a breath of fresh air. It also gave several of the characters a chance to step out of their usual mannerisms. Kristen Kreuk stole the show by believably playing an ancestral witch with a grudge to settle. Allison Mack and Erica Durance, on the other hand, hammed it up too much, and were much less believable in their witch-possessed bodies. For instance, it's hard to believe that after 400 years, the witch in Lois Lane would be most enamored by her breasts. But still, the fish out of water humor was fun, too. Clark vs. the witches was also a good time. As an extra bonus, new glimpses of the caves and information about the stones was a good treat. Some fans might not like this playful departure, but I did (obviously)!

Worst episode of the first four years

Worst episode of the first four years. You'll have to wait till season nine to get another episode this bad. Lots of stupid stuff. Embarrassing.

    Lana gets possessed

Will it only took 2 episodes for Clark to lose his powers again. Since every other episode someone in Smallville gets possessed or something happens and they act "different", this time it's all 3 girls at the same time. Lana, Lois & Chloe all get possessed by 16th Century witches.

Apparently the writers can't get enough of having characters act or if character and no one else bothers to question why.

It was interesting that Lex came clean with Lana about getting Jason fired. At least he can go back to working on Supernatural which is a way better show anyway.

Also, I'd love to know how the cave seems to contain information from all over the world.

    Worst episode of the season

This was so dumb, complete useless and a waste of time it really hurt my eyes and my brain. Ancient witchcraft? Wtf... If you first wanted to introduce magic to Superman's story, as one of his biggest weakness, at least do a better job than this. They should have made a limit of 20 episodes a season, which would have maybe at least risen the quality or something, and would have written off utter lame episodes like this one.

[Lana, Chloe and Lois had been possessed by 17th century witches. The night before, they had cast a spell on everybody at Chloe's 18th birthday party, making everybody go wild and turn into party animals. Clark sleeps late, leaving Jonathan to do his chores]

      Clark Kent: Hey, dad.

Jonathan Kent: Hey, Clark. Son, is there maybe a little something you'd like to tell your mother and me?

[Jonathan holds up a sexy red and black bra]

Martha Kent: [Quietly] Where did that come from?

Jonathan Kent: From out in the barn. In the hay.

      Martha Kent: [Shocked] Clark...

Clark Kent: [Quickly] It was magic.

Martha Kent: [Smirking] I'm sure it was...
