    Not a Throwaway But.....

This is a take on an oft used plot of a man who has two families in different places. He has children by each wife and spends equal amounts of time. The thing is, he is found at a construction site, in a bathtub, being decomposed with chemicals. There are a couple issues. The first is finding evidence when the body has pretty much been turned to liquid. So the tiniest bits of solid matter come into play, as well as things like pieces of copper. On a separate note, we find out immediately that Booth is sleeping with his Ex (not really--they were never married despite having a son). Booth must ride the wave of his Catholicism, despite not following the dictates of his religion. We also get to know that both he and Brennan leave the episode free to see what comes next.

    • Trivia
Hodgins said that the Vice-President disproved the possibility that birdshot can kill someone. On February 11, 2006, then-United States Dick Cheney, under the 43rd President George W. Bush, shot Harry Whittington, a then-78-year-old Texas attorney, with a 28-gauge Perazzi shotgun while participating in a quail hunt on a ranch in Riviera, Texas. Both Cheney and Whittington called the event an accident.
    • Goofs
At the beginning of the program, while at the crime scene, Pete the construction guy is asking if the tub, a "Godiva 3000", could be reused since it is so expensive. The tub shown is a claw foot, which is in fact a more expensive type of tub than a standard type of tub. Pete goes on to say the building is subsidized housing and the government needs all money accounted for. Since subsidized housing is contracted on a low bid process, subsidized housing would never use expensive items like a claw foot tub.
