Neil Patrick Harris And Alyson Hannigan Deliver

Another great episode of "How I Met Your Mother" that features Barney Stinson in it's main story. Neil Patrick Harris is a joy to watch Every time there is a great episode of this show, it's him that is the focal point.

Plot In A Paragraph: Lily (Alyson Hannigan) is introduced to Barney's (Neil Patrick Harris) batchelor pad "The Fortress Of Barnitude" when she urgently needs a place to stay. It's only meant to be temporary "two nights" but when he realises he can use Lily as a fake wife to scare off one night stands he tells her she is never leaving. Meanwhile Marshall (Jason Segel) finds a new friend to go to concerts, musicals and brunch with.

Cobie Smulders and Josh Radnor don't really have anything to do here, but that's OK because the Jason Segel story is fun and he always delivers.

but again this episode belongs to Neil Patrick Harris and Alyson Hannigan. Their scenes together are an absolute delight.

    • Trivia
Barney's apartment features a clonetrooper, which only appears in the star wars prequels. In later episodes he bashes the prequels. The clonetrooper is in later episodes replaced with a stormtrooper from the original trilogy.
    • Goofs
The armor in Barney's apartment is not actually a Stormtrooper's from the "Star Wars" Original Trilogy, but rather a Clone Trooper's from the Prequels.
    • Quotes

Lily Aldrin: Why would I want to change anything? This place is great, except you don't have a TV.

Barney Stinson: [Points to wall] See that wall?

      [Turns on TV]

Barney Stinson: 300 inch flatscreen! They only sell them in Japan but I know a guy. They ship it over in a tugboat like freakin' King Kong!

Lily Aldrin: It hurts my eyes...

Barney Stinson: Yeah, that doesn't go away.
