Diamonds and Pearls Doll's Blanket

Diamonds and Pearls Doll's Blanket

I love the look of this lacy stitch pattern.

I tried it out by making a blanket for a doll ........ but it would look great too for a bigger blanket or scarf.

DK yarn (around 22g - 25g of acrylic DK)

4.5mm needles

Width ~ 9 ½ "

Instructions:

Cast on 63sts

Knit 2 rows

Put a stitch marker (or short length of a contrasting colour of yarn) at one edge of the

row - it will help you if you forget which row you are on. Move it up every time you

complete the set of 10 pattern rows).

Repeat pattern rows 1 – 10  as many times as you wish

Repeat pattern rows 1 – 9

Knit 2 rows

Cast off

Darn away ends

Diamonds and Pearls Doll's Blanket

The stitch repeat is 12 stitches -  so you can make bigger or smaller items by casting

on 63sts ( +/ - multiples of 12)

For a scarf of around 6" wide ~ cast on 27sts

For a baby blanket or around 24" wide ~ cast on 147sts
