Lazy weekend with Mum.

Julie: I like sitting on Mum.

She is comfy and soft. MOL!

She is also nice and warm.

Even though we have a furnace that blows

nice warm air, I still like snuggling with mum!

I also get some really nice scritches too.

I also like the bed. It is cozy, comfy and there is lots

of room to stretch out!

We had some nice sunshine yesterday.

                                                    There was also a bit of melting going on too.

                                                           The week does not look too bad.

                                             There will be dome flurries, but no accumulation.

                                                       The daytime temps will be above 0C (32F)

       and no storms in the forecast.

Snow,Snow go away...

Julie: On Friday we got a big snowstorm.

I must go look out of the kitchen

window.

More Light,Fluffy Snow We Didn't Want

Julie: Well, we had a snowstorm yesterday.

The good thing was mum came home early.

We got a bunch of snow, but mum said it was 

light and fluffy and easy to move.

We are both happy that March is here.

That means the snow will not last especially

as we have rain and much warmer temperatures

coming over the weekend.

We are looking forward to Spring!

Another Snow day and Welcome Spring!

Georgia: Well, the effects of the snowstorm have affected

Mom again and she was home for another day yesterday.

We liked that and  she did too.

It was sunny and Mom went outside to take some pics.

Our yard now has these pathways.

The banks on either side are taller than Mom!

The driveway was shoveled out after the snow last weekend.

Now, it is knee high, but the banks are high.

Mom finds it hard to throw the snow up on those banks.

It is a slow process as she drags a shovel of snow

to a place where she can put the snow.

She does have a path to the bird feeders. As you can see

there is a lot more snow than on Sunday!

Julie: That's right Georgia. But  today is sunny

and it is the first day of SPRING!

We purr Spring will make all of this go away soon!

We are all happy to welcome Spring !

Georgia - Our Big Snowy Weekend !

Georgia: Well , Sunday we had a BIG snowstorm.

We got lots of snow too.

Mom was not too impressed, but she got lots of

exercise moving the snow.

Monday Musings with Georgia

Georgia: Hi friends. I am trying to decide what to do.

It is fun when Mom is home,  not so much when she is

at work.

I like to sit on the arm of the chairs. When Mom is sitting 

there  she gives me lots of scritches. I love that!

I'm ready for those scritches! Anyone want to give me some ?

Saturday we had some sunshine and JJ was soaking

up the rays in the kitchen.

Every once in a while, he would look outside to see what was

going on.

Treasure is enjoying a good snooze. 

He looks quite cozy.

We all may join him for a snooze until Mom comes home.

Unless Squirrel TV is good today !

Finally Friday

Georgia: YAY!

 It's Friday and that means it is one day closer to Spring!

I like Spring because it means warmer weather and more days

to spend on the porch.  Yesterday was warm, but today is

colder and we have snow flurries, about 2 cm of them.

It will be sunny on the weekend ,but cold. darn.

I walked in the other room to see Mom yesterday and she 

surprised me when she took my picture. Moms like sneak attacks.

Tillie has been snoozing lots in her favourite bed.

She wakes up with a big stretch !

Julie spent a bit of time on the porch .

She is thinking about what she should do next.

Stay on the porch or go inside. She went inside because Mom did.

JJ was on the porch too .

What, you want me to come in too?

Will there be treats if I do?

Tiger had fer checkup at the Vet  to see how she is healing

after dental surgery and she is A-OK !

She is very happy!

Treasure does not have to go back to the Vet anymore either.

The Vet said his infection is gone and he is breathing just fine.

He is very happy about that ! He hates going there.

 We are all going to hang out and snuggle with Mom this 

weekend. That will be FUN !!

This is a video of the storm we had yesterday.
It came and went quickly and we are glad!
The snow stopped after supper and
then it started to warm up.

Mom put some birdseed out for the birdies.
We think the chickadees liked it!!

President Obama was in Ottawa,Canada today.
On the way home ,he stopped to buy Canadian cookies.
The bakery owner would not take President Obama's,
money because the cookies were for his children and he
said he would not eat them before he got home :)
