SHAGGY 2000 - 2017
He was losing weight and having some kidney issues, which leads to other issues in an elderly cat. He was barely licking his food these past two weeks, and last week I was giving him subq fluids. This week he told me to let it go, and let him go. They do tell you, you know. This week I gave him supportive, palliative care. Last Sunday he spent hours on the front porch soaking up the warm sunshine, listening to the birds. in recent years he only wanted to be out for a short time. He and I both knew this was to be his last time.
Dear gentle friend fly free.
I love you forever.
With this, I believe I am closing this blog.
I'm truly blessed with all the friends I've made through blogging, and I am still on Facebook.
