Vacation was Good, But Home is Best!

Julie: Hi gang! I'm back!

I had a good vacation with mum.

We went to one of mum's sister's place and we had

our own room. It was cool.

There are 2 other cats living at mum's sister's place,

so I got to have my own room.

It was quite fun, and it was nice to have mum close by.

We got to hang out together too.

 However I must say, that I do like being home best.

Well, after all that excitement, I think I need a good

nap!

Where is Mom ?

Tillie: Well!!! This new year is not off to the best start

as far as I am concerned! Why, you ask?

BECAUSE MOM IS NOT HERE!!!!!
We have a nice sitter and Mom will be in to see us  fairly often.

She is staying at Team Tabby's place and she is looking after

our furcousins. Why? I'll let my furcousins tell you.

 

 Mindy: Mom and Dad have gone off on a vacation.

They are spending it with Dad's brother and his wife,

who have a place in Florida.

You may recall that they did this last year too !

I do not mind Aunty being here, because she gives me

good scritches and belly rubs.

 Mike is getting used to the idea.

So is Cookie.

 And who is this?

My silly brofur Moe!

 They are all getting used to Aunty being here because they

know they will be fed!! Those boys just think about 

their tummies all the time!!

 It was stormy when Mom and Dad left and their plane 

was delayed for a day. They are happy to leave snow behind!

That is because they will be going on a cruise 

while they are away!!!!! They will be on this ship and going 

to places nice and warm!

Gee, they could have stayed indoors like us and be warm.

Though sometimes they have to go out in the cold to get 

our foods and theirs too.

 

Mindy: Have fun Mom and Dad,but hurry home!

Tillie: Um, Mindy, they will not be home for 6 weeks!

What Mom Saw

When Mom was in Ottawa on her vacation,

she visited a most interesting museum.

The Canadian Museum of Civilization.

 This is located across the Ottawa River

 in Gatineau,Quebec

This fountain is just to the side of the main entrance.

You can see the Ottawa River in the background

 as well as the Parliament Building(tall steeple

known as the Peace Tower) in Ottawa, Ontario

Inside on the first floor is the "First Peoples Hall"

 This sculpture is on the back of our

$20 dollar bill.

It was created by Bill Reid and is called

"The Spirit of Haida Gwaii"

Just a tiny bit of the things Mom saw 

on her vacation.

Reflecting

Hi, Tillie here. I am reflecting on things.

As you know, our dear Sisterkitty-in-law

 Misses Peach, went to the Rainbow Bridge

Monday. That makes us very sad.

But, we have our memories. For example...

Mickey met Miss Peach in the Fall of 2007.

Mickey visited Miss Peach at her home.

Love blossomed, and they married

on Halloween! 

October 31, 2009

They were very happy until Mickey 

went to the Bridge March 11, 2011

Now, they are reunited!!!!!

While we are all happy for them,

 we feel lonely and sad,because we miss them so much!

We know we will meet again someday, 

we just miss them today.

The Broken Chain

We will be offline for a short time. 

Mom is abandoning us to go to  Ottawa.

She is visiting her sister. 

Something called vacation. 

She is going with her sister and other family.

Mom will be away about a week. 

We will try to visit you. 

We will see if we can get on the computer.

Our sitter is pretty easy going, heehee

Try not to forget us, OK??

Travel Thursday - Bora Bora

Our friend Gracie got a bit miffed at her folks.

It seems her Mom was not helping her blog

and visit!! This sounds familiar to us too.

Just because it's Summer,that does not mean

our beans can go off to do "their own thing"

and leave us kitties high and dry napping 

on the couch!!

So!!! Gracie decided to stage her protest in Bora Bora

What a nice place :)

We will join her there and stay until our

beans decide to help us visit our friends'.

We suspect this threat will not last long. 

Mom would be lost without us and will give in to 

our demands. Besides, we know she has the treats!! 

heehee

Georgia and I are relaxing near our lovely hut.

As you can see, there is a nice boardwalk that

is safely above the water. That way, we will not

get our furs wet!!!!

Look at our beautiful room !!! 

Lots of windows(every cat loves windows)

 and a nice BIG bed for all 5 of us !!!

Room for some friends too !

Oh, we will have a great time here.

Gotta go!! I thing I hear Gracie calling...

Finding Miss Peach

My Sweetie Miss Peach found a way to go to Maui with her Mom and Lapdaddy . I did not get a chance to see her before she left and I felt miserable. I had to go see her.




She told me about Angus Mhor. His beans were going away too. He explained about how he got to go by getting Transmorgified ! I thought about this and checked with Mom. She said OK,woot!! After learning the details, I got my likeness , glambed it up a tad and set out to find her!

What do ya think ? Heehee.

I think this super resort is a great place to start looking!

Hmmmmmmmmmm,I do not see her on the beach.

I do not see her on this enchanting patio and pool area.

I searched all day into the night.







I only made a stop to fill up on some premo grass, Yum!!!!!!!!

With an early start I searched again. Look!!!!! I see her on the beach!!!!!!!!






What a joyous reunion we had.We went back to the resort and enjoyed time at the pool.

We spent some time on the beach too!! We had a great time. I had to leave before she did. I will be looking forward to seeing her when she comes back! What an awesome time I had!!!!!
