IV Kaya-Canoeing Race City of Murcia

Early in the morning, it has started a weekend to put our senses to the Segura river. It has started with a dragon boats race.
During the hole weekend, 700 participants (including world champions and Olympic champions) have been registered in the different races of the various boats, which each year attracts more participants and more audience.

Motocross In Alhama

Yesterday I was fortunate to attend to the Circuit of Las Salinas, in Alhama of Murcia (organized by the Moto Club Alhama). There it celebrated the XXXIV edition of the motocross regional championship. In this circuit, have held the World Championship races, the European Championship and the Championship of Spain.

The importance of this day was not who won, but how much money is collected, and all that money was destined for the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC)

I.A.A.F. Challenge

Next Sunday will be held in Murcia the "2008 IAAF Race Walking Final Challege." A competition equivalent to the Golden League. It will be held 20 to 50 km race walking male and 20km race walking female.

It is an event in Murcia who want to give a good image as a candidate city for the 2013 World University Championships which will be elected in 2009. (Source: http://www.murcia2008.com/)
