Synopsis

Choi Suna once enjoyed the familiar plot of a novel following Rhyse Sinclair—the virtuous ward of the prominent Rudwick family—who is entangled in a love triangle with the Rudwick sons. The elder Cliff becomes her main love interest, while the younger Killian remains lovelorn forevermore, trapped in a loveless marriage with the vile Edith Rigelhof from an opposing family. Seductive and cunning, Edith is a textbook villainess destined to die at Killian's hands after relentlessly tormenting Rhyse and serving as a spy for the Rigelhofs.

When Suna unexpectedly reincarnates as Edith, she finds her new life all too similar to her own abusive past. Determined to change Edith's fate and live, Suna swears off villainy and refuses to let Killian and his family mistreat her by showing them she is nothing like the other Rigelhofs. As she plans her escape while occasionally flirting with the endearingly distrustful Killian, she vows that her reincarnation story will be anything but typical.

Everyone truly got the ending they deserved. The story is wholehearted, with character development and relationships that feel genuine. Every character adds depth to the story, and their struggles and growth make you care for them deeply. The art is stunning. The relationships in this are beautifully written as well.

I’m really happy with how things turned out for the OG Edith and Rhyse. Seeing how their stories were respected and how both of them finally found closure made me emotional. They both deserved peace after everything that happened. They deserve better. (Author's fault btw) I love every WOMAN in this story.

I've read quite a bit of manga like this one, however, this is one of the more memorable ones I've read.

It tends to throw in a twist when you think Edith is finally able to calm down from whatever she had to go through (usually drama with her in-laws or husband). Edith tends to be the outcast because of her family and past actions even though she wasn't actually the soul behind it. She's not able to tell anyone about the situation she's in due to a system which she has to go through three missions to kind of overwrite it in a way. ...

I started by reading the manga and it seemed pretty good, the thing is sometimes the Ml can be quite annoying, but then I learnt that in the novel you can understand everything much better.

With that in mind, after reading the novel, the manga is lacking in many ways, there are parts that were much better in the novel and aren't portrayed as deeply in the manga.

People who hate Killian because of his attitude of blaming everything on Edith, you can definitely see a character development in the novel, while in the manga they don't show much of Kilians' pov. That does not ...
