Better than the competition (for me anyway).

I love this. I had another brand but sent it back as it measured MY distance on a walk, NOT my dog's, which was a bit daft.
Pitpat Activity Monitor makes a pretty good job of showing how much exercise my dog is getting, and with that, and all the other features makes it good value for a small subscription fee.

The only thing I'd change is the leaderboard feature, which only gives very basic data. Getting that improved would be great.

Delivery was fast

Delivery was fast ! Day after! Absolutely brilliant to track our furbabies ❤️ never had a dog walker in all my years .. but now I need one .. my last rescue is full of energy.. so he goes over the hills with lots of friends on adventures.. & I know exactly where he is at all times !! Massive peace of mind !

Since first engaging with PitPat they have been consistently helpful above and beyond the call of duty. They are now helping me with weight loss plans, including full dietary provisions and a personal in depth knowledge of me and my dog. Really glad I found them ❤️❤️❤️👏👏👏

Arrived the day after ordering

Arrived the day after ordering, and is absolutely brilliant.

We’re really remote and mobiles barely work. I was dubious about the tracker - but shouldn’t have been!

It’s amazing, the peace of mind is incredible. We have a whippet (not yet one) who can cover a lot of ground very quickly and we can’t always see him on woodland walks. Knowing where he is without having to panic (or pester him with a needless recall) is fantastic.

Original tracker stopped working after…

Original tracker stopped working after less than two years.
Customer service very good, offered a replacement at 50% discount. Hopefully the new tracker will last a little longer than the first.

Fantastic tracker!

I wanted a subscription free tracker. This unit surpassed my expectations with a great app companion providing features such as activity tracking and compass tracking as well as location GPS maps. For £3.99 a month you can upgrade to a subscription model with some worthy benefits. If you're dog is prone to running off I would activate the tracking before a walk as it can take up to 5 minutes for the tracking to commence. This is a great device from a British company.

Definitely worth getting 🐾❤️
When ordering they came quickly and were easy to set up. As we got 5 and with no subscription charges it was the most sensible thing to do. However the only let down is the batteries. We have put them onto economy settings from the beginning but after 3 hourly walks per day they need to be fully charged every 3rd day. It's a shame you can't switch them off completely on the app menu. I have recently purchased them and i don't know how long they are going to last for. Also it's a shame you can't link them up together on the walks when walking. If the batteries were better i would have given 5 stars. 🤗

So far a great product.

It was easy and straightforward to order. It arrived on time as I was informed. The set up was easy and straightforward too.
It all seems to be working well so far. I haven't lost him yet so haven't had to find him!!

Happy paw walking 🐾🐾

Love how you can see what they have done and easy to use. For two dogs on same app . 🐾🐾👌🐾🐾 Love that I can let them off now and I can find them if they should get lost . And all so used on my horse just incase we parted company 🐴

I love the idea of this

I love the idea of this, the feature which shows what he’s done all day is great, and helpful to exercise him, but the feature to find where he is, is a little slow. But as it’s not a monthly payment, so I’m not sure what I expected.

Disappointed

At this moment, I am very disappointed in the Pit pat tracker. I have used it each day when I have been walking my dog on the local Moors.
It takes a long time to find any signal from the tracker. On 2 occasions it said that the signal could not be heard, I was on open moorland. Then when eventually when a signal was detected, it was telling me that my dog was 80 meters behind me when in reality she was well in front of me.
The majority of my dog walking is done in woodland or on moorland and the lack of Internet access or phone signal is very frustrating.
I shall persevere and if it does not improve I shall return the tracker for a full refund.

Good product without subscription fees

This is a good product and I am happy. It can take time to up load to satellite by bc a few minutes but is good value if you don’t want to have a subscription each month.
This product gives me peace of mind if my set of paws wandered off
The customer service is also very good for speedy responses and helpful

dissappointed regular customer

Ordered Sunday next day delivery. No delivery Monday phoned pitpat said Tuesday still no delivery or Wednesday. Cancelled order on Wednesday because I told them I would be away for a week and nobody home.Got email to say they cancelled order and I was refunded.Now Saturday and no refund as yet. Very disappointed as always had next day delivery no problems but not this time.

Absolutely a waste of money

Absolutely a waste of money , I thought buy the most expensive on the market as that should be the best right ? WRONG!! The coverage is awful - mine has not connected for 3 days and still does not work . And the accuracy of the tracker is also no good as sometimes takes 40 seconds to a minute to get a satellite signal by that time the dog is a further minute away . Just do not waste your money on this I though no monthly fee like other tracker honestly don’t waste your time and money .

It sounds at though you live in a particularly poor signal area. If your PitPat is not connecting and the accuracy is 'No Good' (both of which sound like they are connected to the local coverage) then of course we expect to be informed.

I am pleased to say that no money has been wasted here. We are always looking to take care of our customers and there is a 42-day no quibble return and refund period for dog lovers like yourself.

If you find that, for whatever reason, it isn't going to work for you in your local area within those first 42 days then please just reach out to Customer Support at PitPat - help@pitpatpet.com - We will arrange a return (at no extra cost to yourself) and once it has reached PitPat HQ we will fulfill your refund.

Our silly boy lost his collar

Our silly boy lost his collar, with his PitPat on it, in our garden. Much searching did not find it, so contacted a very helpful Lauren who organised a replacement for us, with some discount. The new PitPat arrived the next day.

So this Pit Pat can let yr dog run wherever it feels and out of sight from it's owner...The dog can crap where it likes and the owner will never know!!!..A bloody stupid thing!!!

Not bad, but it depends what you want

I've had other trackers that have preformed slightly better. How better? They had an audible and visual alarms, so a bonus for a dog loss at night. PitPat is quite slow on connecting to satellites but once connected it's pretty accurate.

So far this has been a good purchase

So far this has been a good purchase. The only small issue I have is the awful mobile signal in my area which results in a dropped connection periodically. I called the Helpline when I suffered a prolonged disconnect, they were very helpful and resolved the issue with the unit became frozen. Another benefit is the no quibble return policy, after purchase of 42 days, which allows use of the Pitpat in your daily life to ensure it is the right product for you.
