Great experience, easy process in and out.

We rented a car near Paphos Airport and the experience was very satisfactory.

Quick and clear explanation while we were receiving the car. When we returned it, we had to wait some minutes because other people returning cars as well, but the guy at the front desk was very nice to us.

Very good experience

Fast service of delivery and reception of car at end of rental period. Good English speakers at Rome office - a little far from Rome airport and shuttle pickup fairly slow - but no great problem. No pressure to purchase additional insurance (very different from Heathrow experiences with Green Motion).

OMG give them a miss

I hired a van and paid for premium plus cover that gave me 2 additions I added satnav and extra driver, on return of van told that no van there has sat nav so feel a bit robbed. The vehicle that pick us up from the airport was filthy inside and floor all sticky, the seats were dirty it was disgusting. The van we hire was filthy, empty of fuel, the van was white and the roof was green dirt so I'm assuming that's were you get your name from, I wouldn't have said anything only you sent me this feedback email complete. Good experience with staff members at…

Good experience with staff members at pick up and drop off. Had some issues with online broker, which was resolved eventually.
Nice car. Drop off hard to find in Edinburgh railway station but no problem in the end.

Pleasant reception experience

Pleasant reception experience. Car was clean. Only issue was description of defects - trying verify in the dark prior to driving away. An well lit inspection & handover location is essential when there are such high costs at stake for missing an pre-existing defect.

SCAM - hidden costs and awful staff

Never choose this company. When we came to pick up the car, they charged an extra £100 for no reason. Kish grabbed the credit card out of my boyfriend’s hand and was repeatedly very rude. He tried at every point to find an opportunity to incur more charges. Stay well clear!!

FRAUDSTERS !!!!

They even tell you to email an address supplied ics@ blah blah blah



AND IT DOESN'T EVEN WORK!!!

That's how terrible this company is!

Please email our complaints department that you can't even contact!!! It laughable it is sooooo bad !


DO NOT HIRE FROM THIS COMPANY> THEY WILL ROB YOU !


I have also tried to email their reservations team as advised below and what do you know? You still can't send anything !!

Absolute chancers

Absolute chancers . Just use enterprise or Hertz .

First of all , don’t book the insurance online . When you arrive , they will tell you that has nothing to do with them and that they won’t help you if there is damage .
They will then offer you their own insurance at an eye watering price . Absolute joke .

When I arrived there was a lady in tears outside the office because she didn’t have the correct documents. When I returned the car there was a gentleman caught out with the insurance offer mentioned above . He was as confused as I was .

On returning the car , I watched them do the inspection . They tried to pull me up on ‘have you touched a curb with the underside of the bumper?’ .
Not a bloody chance , and don’t even try it .

Anyways , they let it go . But I would never use this company again .
Hertz or Enterprise may be a little bit more , but it is worth paying as I’ve never had any issues with them before .

My wife and I visited Edinburg on…

My wife and I visited Edinburg on October 24, 2024 for 3 days on a Tourist Visa. We safely reached Qatar on October 27, 2024 night with great memories except for the M/s Greenmotion experience.
During this period, I've booked a rent-a-car from M/s Greenmotion through my "Booking.com" account.

We were tired after the journey, and keeping my trust in M/s Greenmotion, I took possession of my rent-a-car. Their representative did not come outside for a joint inspection. The car was dirty from the outside and was in Basement level 3 with minimum light.
I drove the car carefully, using my 30 years of experience in various countries. When I returned the car, they inspected it thoroughly, found multiple minor damages (which were already there), and forcefully implemented high damage charges of GBP1,195.48 on my shoulder.
We needed to catch our flight, and I argued with their representative, but they were not listening.

Later I did email correspondences. Please refer to the series of trail emails, and I beg justice from you to get my refund of GBP1,195.48.

Long waiting, credit card not accepted, not hire

Booked via rentcars.com in Glasgow Airport. First, their shuttle bust left us waiting for 45 minutes to pick us up (for a 2 min drive, and each time we called them they said the shuttle left and will arrive in 'a couple' of minutes).
But worse, my valid VISA Gold Credit card which I used to pay the deposit was not recognised as a credit card by their software. They left us waiting on their parking lot for one hour serving other customers before telling us they couldn't do anything, did not refund the deposit (claiming we need to sort this out with the online portal) and gave us nothing to prove that the hire did not take place at their fault.
We lost two hours waiting for nothing and endangering our holiday logistics (as we had a ferry to take), without compensation. Luckily, Europcar got us covered to hire a car last-minute at a reasonable price

We arrived at London Stansted to pick…

We arrived at London Stansted to pick up our car and what a disaster from start to finish with this company. There is a reason they are cheaper than the other hire companies, pay the extra. My husband produced our credit card in our name to which they would not accept which has never been an issue with other car companies. Given a number to contact to get a refund as we had to cancel and ended up late to the event we were over for as had to pay a taxi. Till this day we have not received a refund and were meet with excuse after excuse, so we ended up out money for a hire car that we never got and the expense of paying for a taxi. If I could give them a zero for their customer care I would. Never use this company unless you want massive stress and disappointment for your trip.

I recently wrote a review giving 5…

I recently wrote a review giving 5 stars to this rental company for their excellent customer service. I have just received notice from them regarding a fixed penalty charge which is absolutely fine and I have accordingly paid it. I resent their charge of £68.00 for administration fees for doing what exactly?...I still had to sort out paying the charge myself. Make sure to read all the terms and conditions before hiring from them.

They then charge Green Motion handling and 'Transfer of Liability' fees, which is why we must charge an admin fee in such circumstances. To clarify, this charge is not to provide you with a notification of the fine, as it is the responsibility of the issuing authority to do this. Con artists

If the general state of disrepair doesn’t make it clear from the get-go, these guys are absolute con-artists—wouldn’t rent to us because the main driver worked for the US government (not actually stipulated on their website or in their terms and agreements, despite what the awful front desk staff said); wouldn’t provide documentation of that policy, wouldn’t provide a bill of cancellation either. Stay far away if you’ve got any self respect.


Edit: Laughable reply given the interior departments are neither foreign service nor military; but what could you expect of a company that can’t even form a conditional clause in their own T&Cs correctly!
