We have been with Symphonic for 15 years, Great solid company! With amazing customer service & prompt.
Always helps us navigate there site when new features appear to get the most impact for our music releases. It's been fun to see them grow through the years to this amazing & friendly company!

We've been with Symphonic since May…

We've been with Symphonic since May 2024. So far the experience has been positive. The support is engaging, actual humans, and prompt. We've released four singles since joining Symphonic and every one has been seamless.

Symphonic excellence…

I was very pleasantly surprised with the fast service response of Symphonic. Generally, automated systems can completely frustrate you almost to giving up. I was transferring my catalogue to Simphonic when the automated system kicked in. But with one or two exchanges with support, especially Katacha, things resolved fast and catalogue all approved.
A big sigh of relief on my side that Symphonic have got it right.
Way to go Simphonic!

You talk to an actual human who wants…

You talk to an actual human who wants to help you and does so quickly. Sometimes it's the same person so they remember if you have a persistent issue. It's amazing compared to all the automatic AI responses you get elsewhere. And the reality is that there are rarely issues. So it's a win win! Thank you.

Don't fall into the trap

Work with them if you want them to rip you off. I'm talking about their distribution, which they claim is paying you 100% of all royalties for $20. This is the biggest joke, don't be fooled by them. One of my release got more then two million views , and what they pay me is about $100. After that, I received a copyright from someone fraudster and my account was suspended even though I proved ownership. They insisted on stealing my money and closing my account

Symphonic monitors activity on accounts and further, receives inquiries from DSPs. Streaming spikes are reported to us and at times are found to be fraudulent. We gain nothing from canceling any client, especially one that is being successful.

Symphonic values our relationships with our clients. We do not typically terminate clients without cause or justification, and we certainly do not withhold royalties without cause or justification. Generally, our agreements and terms of service provide for withholding royalties, account termination and/or other remedies related to improper activity due to the liability associated with those matters. We communicate to impacted clients about any withholding, termination and/or other actions taken concerning their account. If any such actions were taken concerning your account you would have received a communication from us about it. We encourage you to direct any further questions to our support desk.

Symphonic it's just wonderful

Symphonic distribution it's just wonderful, i tried other distribution platforms and they don't come even close, to what symphonic offers! You have full customisation of every release on your fingertips, and tou can cancel and edit releases at any time to change cover, metadata or even the wav file, it is no easy and you can do it all on your own without asking support for help! There are a few things for which you have to ask like special partner platforms and youtube artist page, but those are things that you need help from a person anyways, the platform is just great! I love it!

After nearly 10 years with Symphonic

After nearly 10 years, I cannot say enough positive things about my experience with Symphonic. From their owner to support, you will be treated like a human by humans. Just had an issue setting up infrastructure for 2 new labels, ran into an issue and was taken care of perfectly by support (as has always been the case)!

Symphonic is by far the best distributor in the music industry. Their real-person customer service, fast response times, pre/post release options to make your release more successful & more! They can even pay artists in nearly every country of the world! Go Symphonic!

Great for labels, but won't recommend artist plan

I've been Symphonic client for 2 years already, on the custom deal plan.
I can definitely recommend them for labels, tools are great, automatic royalty splits and recoupments work perfectly. Their DSP contacts might not be the best on the market, but I still managed to get editorial support from Spotify, Deezer and Soundcloud.

Although keep that in mind: the $19 plan is not so great. Yeah they get your music on streaming services but it's very limited.

There are better options for smaller artists, but for labels, I didn't use anything better yet.

The platform is easy to navigate, and everything works like it’s supposed to. It’s a great value for the money. Customer service is responsive and friendly, and they genuinely care that you are having a good experience. Loving Symphonic!

loving Symphonic so far

When I decided to self-release through a distributor I have to say I was not expecting much (there's so much music out there) - but Symphonic has been a pleasure to deal with, hands-on when necessary (even for their starter program). In my opinion they honestly care about your results (for example look at all their YT tutorial content).

1st class service!

What made my experience great? The customer service. You have a question or an issue? Hey, you get 1st class service and a competent reply by a human, not a bot, mostly the same day or the day after. I left Amuse.io and re-release all my works on Symphonic and LANDR. Not putting all my eggs in the same basket. I'm feeling comfortable with both distributors up to now. When I think back about the 2 years spent with the crooks of Amuse.io... it feels like heaven now with Symphonic since May 2024.

I've been in the music industry for over 28 years and many things have changed. I've dealt with a lot of distribution but by far, Symphonic to me, has surpassed my expectations on every level from releases to customer service!! Dj Rip

You pay 19€/$

You pay 19€/$, don't expact anything in your favor than a support bot and a legal/trust/safety departpent in once. Better skip this kind of distributor. In Europe such a company and their general terms would not be possible.

For $19.99 we provide a lot of tools comparable to distributors, the ability to select your own release dates, be able to select any and all partners, no charges for featuring artists, cutting edge analytics, free use of payment technology to let you send out payments to collaborators (where as our competitors may charge for this), and much more. Our knowledge base is packed with a lot of information and our chat bot is there for convenience and in BETA but anyone can be elevated to speak to a human. If you heard from our Trust & Safety it may had been because your content was engaged in artificial streaming or any other type of improper activity of which, we take very seriously.

Recommended

The company has delivered well, has good reporting structure and flexible release scheduling.

I do recommend the platform for small Labels, successful artists and composers.

I've recorded with Mix engineers such as Chris Bell and Colin Leonard and some of the best electronica producers in the industry and have been happy to use the Symphonic Platform for our releases.

Symphonic has been a great distribution…

Symphonic has been a great distribution company for me thus far. I just seem to get around better on the site and find what I'm looking for. Customer service has been great with answering my questions and helping when needed. Big reasons I chose Symphonic is there ability to get on Traxsource, which is huge for me since the majority of my music is House music. Symphonic provides sync licensing and registration with charts. Overall good experience so far!
