Nice experience at FV

Nice experience at FV, went to get a new mattress. Pascal was an absolute star. No heavy sell or push, just polite, very professional,informative, honest and witty. Felt comfortable, really nice not to feel you're being rinsed or hassled, gave us plenty of time and space but still helpful input.

Recliner Sofa

We were approached by Simon, when we walked into the showroom, who offered his help and advice, then gave us the opportunity to look around and discuss things by ourselves. Once we had chosen our suite, we spoke with him and made our purchase. Found Simon to be knowledgeable and helpful.

Delivery with a smile

We received a telephone call fromTony and Lee the evening prior to delivery with an expected delivery time. They arrived promptly with a smile and warm welcome. Flat pack items were constructed in the delivery vehicle meaning our home remained tidy. Furniture was carried carefully to each room allowing time for inspection. Tony and Lee were courteous and professional throughout. Thank you both.

Refreshing sales experience …

It was refreshing to meet Chris Dyer the furniture salesman at Furniture Village .
His detailed knowledge of the beds and maittresses on sale was impressive but delved in a humble way.
He patiently advised us on what would fit our personal needs and fit our budget. He achieved a good deal for us and we can’t wait to sleep in the luxury bed set. We will definitely go back for more furnishings if Chris is our guide.

We said Yes to the wall clock

We always like to visit the Furniture Village at the Capital Centre , Preston , living outside the area . Having purchased our lounge suite with them previously , we wanted a wall clock . The sales consultant was very pleasant , his name , Kevin Byrne , he was helpful , but not pushy like some you find in other retail stores . He was patient , and very friendly . The sale , as in paperwork went smoothly and Kevin asked if we had purchased from furniture village prior to, in order to provide a discount on the clock , which was very welcome . Thank you Kevin , we will look forward to visiting Furniture Village again without hesitation.

Delivery guys 1st class

Saul & Lewis who delivered the sofas were 1st class. They took photos of a few marks on the sofas and realised that one of the sofas didn't have the centre supporting foot drilled out. They were going to contact customer services and report. Called back to say that Emily in customer services will call me but no call as yet.

Very happy with new sofa

The communication prior to delivery was excellent - we knew exactly when they were coming. Gary and Nicolae were very polite, friendly and helpful. They explained everything clearly and made sure we were happy with our new sofa. On the basis of our experience do far, we would be happy to recommend Furniture Village.

In shop Experience

We went in and Sunny was our sales person. He was welcoming and informative, told us what we needed to know and left us to look around while always being on hand. We left to look elsewhere which was no issue before coming back and deciding to purchase. On our return he happily took our order (he didn't push the sale at all which other stores did where I walked out purely due to that). Would definitely recommend so far and when I need more furniture will go back.

Visit to the Southampton branch to purchase a new bed.

We went into the Southampton branch to look for a new bed, what a lovely store and beautiful furnishings for any home. We were met by one of the Sales Consultants Neelam Vyas, who was so professional and friendly also so knowledgeable about the type of beds / mattresses. Neelam made us aware of how the mattress should fit you, not had that advice anywhere else, we were very impressed.
The Customer Service Neelam gave was exceptional and we placed our order with her.
We would have no hesitation to recommend Neelam to any of our friends and family to come and see at Furniture Village store in Southampton.

We had looked at hundreds of sofas

We had looked at hundreds of sofas - saw one we really liked in furniture village - Faisal Qureshi was extremely helpful - not pushy at all, gave us the info we needed n left us to decide. Once we had made a choice he was quick and efficient with the paperwork n we left very happy - thank you.

The staff was friendly and attentive

The staff was friendly and attentive, especially Danny, he explained everything in great detail, he’s was very patient and showed us the variety of options.
The in store baked cookies and variety of hot drinks made a great extra touch.
We will be shopping there again.

Poor quality and refusal to honour warranty policy

Sold me a poor quality sofa for 5K, refused to deliver it. Refused an exchange when sofa didn't fit because it wasn't purchased online. Sofa leg snapped after less than 2 years (still under warranty). Reported loose wobbly frame, FV sent 3rd party engineer who lied reported that nothing is wrong at all, 1 month later sofa leg broke while sitting on it and almost killed me. Sofa is still under warranty but FV refuse to repair or replace. Now taken this to the Furniture Ombudsman for a reasonable resolution and compensation.

Great delivery team!!

Mickel and Chris delivered our new dining table and chairs.
We couldn't have been happier with the brilliant customer service we received.
Mickel and Chris were both very polite and friendly.
They were efficient putting everything together and tidied up after themselves.

Excellent

I forgot to get the name of the gentlemen that served us but he really was great! Listened to what we wanted had our table ordered and paid for within 20min! He offered all extras but no pressure to buy it (we did) honestly a great first time experience with Furniture Village - the Gentlemen who served us the 6 seater Jai table with cream chairs on 8/11/24 - you’re a star

Impressive service once again

The sofas were delivered today by Craig and Ant on the scheduled date. They were incredibly professional, removed their shoes, cleaned up after themselves, and arrived right on time. I'm extremely pleased with their service.

Got a great Black Friday deal with Paul…

Got a great Black Friday deal with Paul Brodin today. We knew what we wanted and Paul made a few additional suggestions which we were happy with and left completely satisfied with our deal. This is the 3rd happy experience we've had with FV this year.

Azzdean

Azzdean , made us feel welcome and offered us a coffee while we looked around the first time . He was attentive without being in your face and was very helpful . When we returned a few days later Azzdean was very busy but still his customer service was excellent.

James and Kev mattress delivery

Came early due to cancellations, and James and Kev couldn't have been more helpful and they also helped us move our old tempur mattress too.
