Proceedings of the Linnean Society of London was a scholarly biology and natural history journal published by the Linnean Society of London.
The Proceedings of the Linnean Society began in 1838, with the first full volume published in 1849. The first two volumes include papers, but in 1857 journals on botany and zoology were spun off the main Proceedings, which then reduced its scope to reporting on the annual session and other administrative details. (The volume numbering also changed, eventually reflecting the sequential number of the session.) No issue or contribution copyright renewals were found for this serial. (More details) The Proceedings ran until 1968.
