Gage Roads Huey

Gage Roads, Australia’s number one independent craft brewery, has launched ‘Huey’, an all-natural mid-strength coastal lager. The packaging, designed by Good Drinks Australia’s internal creative team, Chris Rowson & Marcus Taylor, channels classic coastal vibes.

For the first time, we see Gage Roads’ brand mascot ‘Huey’ (the seagull) take centre stage on their packaging. Paired with typography inspired by retro signage found around Fremantle Port (Gage Roads home), the design creates a nostalgic but timeless feel. The bottle neck features an embossing of the brand logo on the front and an embossed seagull on the back. The cutout behind the mascot allows the liquid to glow, just like an epic Western Australian sunset.

What better way to enjoy the sun, salt, and sand than with an ice-cold Huey in hand?
