Second Life - Second Life 1971

Great heavy German prog/blues rock!!
By Tuco on April 23, 2010
Second Life (later named Tiger B. Smith) is a hard, heavy blues/psych-progressive power trio and this is their self-titled debut from 1971. Well worth a listen for fans of hard german stuff from the 70's.

Most notably, the opening song on this album is a self-titled 20 minute suite-style masterpiece running from acoustic folk to heavy guitar solo and then off to a cool drum solo. Usually the type of piece artists were ending their albums with in this era but it works well as opener for these guys!!

Tiger.B.Smith - We´re The Tiger Bunch1974

Tiger B Smith released  2  3 Albums in the early 70s.(One as "Second Life" in 1971)  "Tiger Rock" and this one. Tiger Bunch is by far the better of the two.

If you're into 70's proto-metal hard rock, then this may well fit the bill.
The album "We are the Tiger Bunch"  received support from the elite of the German Top Artists:

Curt Cress (then Doldinger's Passport), Veith Marvos (Emergency), Peter Trunk (international jazz great, Linda Fields (Rattles - singer of The Witch), Rainer Marz (Jeromino) and others went with Tiger B. Smith through the land tours and appearances with Dr. Hook and the Medicine Show, Nectar, Elkie Brooks, Edgar Broughton, Susie Quattro, Middle. of the Road, Spencer Davis Group, UFO, Free and Deep Purple!
