二重の栄誉を受けました "パリス クラウチ の "今行きます!"" が オーストラリアで 有名な #ドイルズ #展覧会の #最終選考者 に 入ったのと同時に IFAM 世界 の トップ 70 artists に 入りました! ドイルズ 展覧会の, また IFAM Global 裏方さん 牽引車の Jansen Chow に 心から感謝です. また全ての参加者に私はおめでとうを言いたいです. 交通事故の後 リハビリをしながら 今 もう一度 絵を頑張ろうとしている私にとって これは とてもいい 励ましになります. とても嬉しいです. みんなの 励ましに 心から感謝します. ありがとうございます😍!!

Tomorrow, the orthopaedic surgeon will remove my R wrist splint. I'll start up hand physiotherapy following day. Healing must come first though, I look forward to painting more figures. Friends, supporters, thank you for big cheers at my tough time. #watercolour #pencildrawing  #sydney #australia
私のパリスちゃんの #肖像画 "ここにいますよ!" が 世界59カ国の 1,023 作品の中から 選ばれた 243作品の中に食い込みました. とても嬉しいですし 参加した 全員の人に心からおめでとうです. もう一ラウンド 楽しみましょうね. この コンペティションを 影で支える Jansen Chow, IFAM Global Team に 大きな感謝です. また モデルをし 励まして くれた パリスちゃん, 画材屋さんの みんな にも 心から感謝です.

明日 骨の専門家に 会いに行って私の 右手首のスプリントを外す予定です. そうしたら 手の リハビリを すぐに始める予定です. まず 体を 治していくことが 第一ですが #人物 を描くのをとても楽しみにしています. とても辛い 大変な時, 友達 また私を支え 大きな声援を送ってくれた 皆さんに 心から感謝しています. ありがとうね!!

RSASA finalist, Opening in Adelaide

My first experience to join the “opening” of a prestigious #competition. Such high criterion and biennial prize run by Royal Art Society is hard to get through. So, I decided to enjoy the opening. Also, my first experience to enjoy a trip since the onset of a disabled leg except May Gibbs fellowship in 2022. The selected paintings were outstanding, very inspiring and unique. My two Helen Chamberlin OAM paintings were selected, although not awarded.

But my happy surprise! A celebrated guest speaker, artist and educator, Dieter Engler talked to me and included Sadami on the shortlist. “You’re a good “listener,” (= portrait is a dialogue between the subject / model and artist, myself )” Dieter smiled at me which touched my heart. Wow!! Yes, that was exactly the same view we shared in his speech on what would create portraits!! I delightedly agreed with his concepts of creating arts. Born to draw.

Please enjoy these winners and awarded artists. Incomparable, distinguished and exceptional portraits were great and joy to look through. Particularly, a young artist and winner, Mia Beheren’s work impressed me most. Coincidently, her work was next to mine! Traditional realism, solid drawing skills, exquisite, yet sending a strong message filled with a challenging mood to viewers which amazed me. I’ve learned many from the finalists. We’ve become friends. No doubt that Mia will be a great artist. Well, hopefully, she will not forget me, a poor artist or a rat in a ditch🤣?!

I also thanked for RSASA team and staff in person. Hard workers behind the scenes, you are our superheroes! A friend in the hostel, Mia’s friend, kindly invited me to an All-you-can-eat Japanese food party! Lucky~~~!! So, I’ll chat over our party in the next post. This visit will enrich my art career and pave my way to the future. Oh, very happy to had visited #adelaide. @miabehrens_art


有名な 展覧会に 2つも 作品が入選! オープニングに 初出席. 展示作品は 素晴らしく, ユニーク.
驚いたことに ゲスト画家 Dieter が 話しかけます. "君はよく 耳を 傾ける, " "モデルと 画家が 対話をし それが肖像画になるのだ",と述べ 私も全く同じ意見で感激!! 私は 描くために生まれました.
隣に 絵をかけてあった Mia が 新人賞. ずば抜けた デッサン力に 感動. 友人になり 日本食食べ放題 party に 招かれました. 展覧会を支える人々に 個人的に感謝しました🤓

The work in Palliative Care Art Prize

#sadamikonchi The work, "The Survivor" is accepted in Palliative Care Art Prize 2021. A gentleman was having a #chemotherapy . Any life in whatever conditions will face death, consequently. Thus, mayflies and we’re the same. A long life is often valued. But if time is limited, at least, the quality of life should be respected as much as possible. A human #dignity needs to be sought for in any contexts. I heartily hope the patient who allowed my #sketch would have enjoyed his life fully.

Honoured I’m a #finalist of 5th Biennial RSASA Portrait Prize by the Royal South Australian Society of Arts. My TWO #publisher Helen Chamberlin (front, side) got in! Can you imagine if your two works are in Archibald or Moran in Adelaide!? $10,000 for #winner. My first attempt. I just put two and forgot what I did. But the notice became my happy surprise!! Oh, my!! I'm in?!! 25 June to 17 July. My "once-in-life” experience. I'll enjoy the opening this Sat 26 June = I'll eat up their hors d'oeuvres and get tipsy with wine?! See the flyer below. 大変な名誉に浴させて頂きました. 5th Biennial Royal South Australia #芸術協会 主催 の #肖像画 #コンテスト の #最終選考者 にはいったのです!! #優賞賞金 は #$10,000 = ¥827330! 初めてポイっと二枚いれて, 完然に忘れていたら, ある日突然, noitceがきて, "おめでとう. Finalistですよ." ええええ!! 信じられず, どのcompetitionかしらと, 慌てて調べたら, Oh, my, Royal South Art Society! それも, 二枚ともはいったのです. 何て, 珍しい, こんな 嬉しいことってあるかしら?! Openingには出ます. そして, Australiaの有名portraitistsのサインもらってこよう.もち, 食い意地の はってる サダミはワインとフレンチ “Hors d'oeuvres” をメ 一杯食いにげ するつもりです.
