The new Nashville, Tenn. airport has garnered attention far and wide for its beautiful design, leading to several awards. Congratulations are in order once again as Engineering News-Record Southeast included it in their 2024 Best Projects. Corgan served as the principal architect to orchestrate the BNA Vision. The airport maintained full operations during the multi-pronged renovation and phased construction of the terminal which included a terminal lobby with a lower-level International Arrival Facility (IAF), additional gates and parking garages, an expanded concourse, concessions and retailers, and a luxury hotel. Our design services are expanding — Pamela Munson joins Corgan as an in-house laboratory planner & medical equipment planner based in our LA office. Pamela is a microbiologist and a certified interior designer who has designed state-of-the-art lab spaces for world-class institutions such as Cedars Sinai, University of California, Los Angeles, and University of California, Irvine. Pamela is serving our clients in the life sciences, healthcare, higher education, and medical industries. She brings deep expertise spanning clinical, research, and education programs, with experience in core labs, molecular laboratories, and electron microscopy suites. We’re honored to announce that two Corgan projects have been nominated for the CoreNet Global - Southern California Chapter REmmy Awards! Our LA office renovation for a confidential client, inspired by LA’s iconic landscapes, is nominated in the Innovative Workplace – Under 50,000 SF category. Our client wanted to create a destination for their employees and clients – relocating their existing regional office to a new “sky oasis” on the 25th and 26th floors of high-rise building on Santa Monica Blvd. in the heart of Century City. The project focused on three objectives: improving workplace experience, right sizing the office footprint, and protecting acoustical privacy. Also nominated is Business Arts Plaza located in Burbank, a building repositioning project aimed at attracting tech, media, and creative tenants. Located at the gateway to major movie studios, the focus of this nine-story granite and glass building was the entry experience and first impression to enhance leasing velocity, tenant retention and optimizing leasing rate potential.
