It combines drama, comedy, and song with gamelan accompaniment. The stories are rooted in everyday life or stories of struggle, interspersed with social criticism. In the old days, as you can see on the cover of this album, the female roles were played by men. In modern day ludruk you don't see that often anymore.... GET IT HERE Enjoy!
