Star Wars and dinner in the guest room
Louis was sad the Star Wars saga was over. Also pics of dining in the guest room as the living room is a junk yard. Also BNQ our new spiritual home!
Miracle on Beryl Road
Basically, a mysteriously leak appeared along the stairwell line out of nowhere. We had just re-plastered, polished, finished, and primed the wall. We were not keen to have to smash it up! Even so, we had to smash the wall in to find out what the problem was. Strangely there was a pipe with a leak in it that must’ve just started spontaneously out of nowhere. Alarmingly, this pipe was made of lead! Very bad!
It was apparently the only one left over from the years of on and off renovations since the house was built.
So the builders took it out, put in a new healthy one re-plastered and re-primed the wall. All in a day’s work.
As a sidenote, luckily our water filter filters out lead. Even so. Thank God/dess for the mystery leak!!!
Getting there aka the eternal renovations!
