New York, New York
New York, innit?!
Started the day with sugary baked goods, made our way down to Wall Street via a public celebration of older people who said we should be revered in old age and were dancing to all the hits with their birth year emblazoned on the back of their shirts, made our way past the Bull, walked across Brooklyn Bridge, wandered the cobbled streets of Dumbo, down to the water, to Prospect Park, pizza at Norms (of course!)
By then Louis had another five stops to do on his head but we were always 12,000 steps in and it was only 2pm so we came back to the hotel for a nap and headed back out around 5pm …
Took a wonderful sunset ferry ride to Astoria in Queens and one of our fave foods, southern bbq for dinner and a well earned Uber home.
Total step count 22,523!!! ❤️ Tomorrow: Harlem.

It’s come to my attention
I just had a message from Cornelia regarding the scooter in Reykjavík Iceland… Which she saw on my Instagram account… Which made me realize I hadn’t actually put any pictures here from our one day in Reykjavík on the way to New York. So I’m putting them here for posterity! I’m going to attempt to backdate the publication date so they go in the right order but if you see them at the top of this blog, then you know why.

Off we go!
Next stop Reykjavik!
Slight panic when I left my MJ at home but kindly dog sitter Nicole put it in an Uber for me!!!
We are the champions
Did I mention that Arsenal won the Premier league for the first time in 22 years?! Oh yeah I think I might’ve done.

Catch up
Just had a close shave with Louis and I both forgetting that he needed a visa to travel to the USA. We applied in the status was pending for a good hour (normally it’s pretty much instant) which didn’t seem very auspicious, but it just came through so USA here we come tomorrow!

Back at the MBS
had a wonderful time at the mind-body spirit. I was a bit concerned because it was a very noisy room the way they’re doing things now and I felt like my message maybe didn’t get across but Hay House said I had the most people they’ve had so far afterwards for the book signing, so I’m gonna take that is a very good sign! They also told me the other day at a meeting that even though sales are down across the board for non-fiction and particularly metaphysical, my books are bucking the trend.
Summer is nearly here
To be completely frank, I don’t really have any new photos I want to share. I just want to say that I’m full of the joys of spring and very excited about summer arriving.
It’s been quite a tumultuous couple of weeks with Jonty being unwell and now being better (thank God!) and I’m just feeling so grateful to be in a good headspace.
I’m about to go and do a workshop at the mind-body spirit event in London and then in about 48 hours, Louis and I will be jetting off to the states for an amazing road trip.
There’s been so much going on in my life lately that I haven’t shared here but it’s all really good and kind of amazing.
#grateful

Arsenal win the league!!
Apparently, we now can also post videos here! So this was last night when Arsenal won the Premier league 22 years on from the last time we did it. Louis got home at midnight from his shift and we jumped in the car and headed up to the Emirates Stadium. So glad we did.

Winners are grinners
Alayna’s last night before she goes to Africa! Louis and I managed to talk her into joining us for the Arsenal V Burnley match which she actually ended up enjoying and I think we have a new Gunner‘s fan! 1-0 to the Arsenal!!
