December

 A cute family of 5.

Charlotte wanted to play with Elanor. Not really, she just wanted the computer.

Charlotte found herself stuck and away from the tree of lights. Oh to get close and pull everything off. She never did.

Dad and girls snuggle for a good read.

A first kiss on demand from the littlest.

A gingerbread house built by Elanor. She won a fun activity with her teacher. What fun was had and she actually participated.

Charlotte is sneaking into places to get closer to that computer.

Gingerbread house build by Sophie (because Elanor made 2)

Elanor is our helper. Look at the skill of shoveling the sidewalk.

Sophie is decorating gingerbread men shaped cookies at school.

Andrew and Charlotte reading a book together.

11 months

What a cutie!

Look closely in the kitchen.
Charlotte has grown so much in the last month. She doesn't sit still for long when she is on the floor, she is off to play with toys. And she has finally started to crawl, non-army style but still prefers to army crawl.

Sophie and Elanor

I realized I haven't done much of an update on Sophie and Elanor. So here it goes.

Sophie: She loves school, it has been great for her and me. The days are long but filled with lots of fun activities. During the week she has PE, Spanish, music, library, art and computer. October Sophie's school had a read-a-thon fundraiser. Every child was asked to participate and of course there would be prizes at the end. Sophie read a ridiculous amount in October but that really isn't different than what she reads most of the time. And with that amount she read, Sophie came home the top Kindergarten (and up to 2nd grade) reader. Her class also raised the most money so they will be receiving a pizza party. Sophie also got a certificate, medal and she picked a prize (a book of course). The class also won a pizza party and had a great time.

Elanor: She loves school. Everyday it is what day is today, then she will sing her days of the week song and figure out what day today is and what tomorrow will be. She loves to be at school but she has a bit of a stubborn streak and went on craft strike. Hopefully it will end soon so I can have her artwork hanging on the walls. Elanor has impressed me with her counting skills, she can count to 100 with a little bit of help. And she loves to write, the asking how to spell has begun with her. She is still a snuggle bug sometimes and loves to be read to. Elanor is our big helper in the kitchen, if we ask her to help put away the silverware she almost always does.

Sophie and Elanor are growing up so quickly. They play well together (most of the time) and love to have the company of each other. The girls love to play family and dress up, it is nice to have a room just for them to be kids.
