CNY

I kind of miss my old long posts.

It's been the week of Chinese New Year. Tiring with all the visiting, eating, drinking, gambling, talking, joking, and receiving angpaus. I haven't been lucky on the bets, so I'll call it off for the year. The celebrations this year isn't really very grand, and I'm feeling a little left out, mainly because most of the time I end up with my parents.

College after CNY isn't really different, starting to feel left out because I'm always trying to be special. That is always my problem. Loneliness was never new. I'll get used to it. I hope so.

Well, I feel like I'm out of ideas to put into the post. I'll just continue with the different type of sports I love.
Badminton was the first sport that I started with, although I'm not a good player, but I can put up a good fight~
Then there's Squash, another raquet game similiar to Badminton which involves hitting the ball after you run and running after you hit the ball. Table Tennis a.k.a. Ping Pong, learnt this when I was form 1. I still remember Tuan Haji Tamrin teaching me. Those were the days. I still like to swim (although I can barely stay afloat), just like to get by the side, have a dip and exercise those lungs. Cycling has always been my type of sport, mainly because I like the feeling of wind slamming on my face. Well, I haven't been good in sports since my childhood days, more passive then active, exercise brain instead of body, but hey, I can like sports even thou I'm not good at it.

Well, theres another long post by me, really love to enjoy short stories made long, with blabering and a junkload of bullshit~~

Its the third day of the year of the tiger now. So far, tiring is what I can use to describe these few days, occasionally, fun is another good word.

Overall this year's CNY was more crowded compared to previous year. It was very tiring, mainly involving plenty of eating and gambling.

Today is Apple Law's birthday. Happy Birthday Apple! We were all wearing red today, just for her.

Started the day with law, finished chapter 8 within 30minutes and we used the other to have some small talk. Then it was Econs, I really started to worry because she was still not here. Aaron had already bought the cake and we put it in the canteen's fridge, here's a pic of it :

I got a little bored so I took thier pictures. Just some of them, will add in later.

 

This happened today.

Today, Yan Yong and I had to belanja the whole gang. You'd be asking why, and I'd tell you its just because the both of us had the highest score in Law and Economics respectively. I got 80 in Law, YY got 87 in Econs. Funny thing was, I didn't even know what happened when they ask me to belanja. Hmm, I'll quote the conversation : 

                Qki : Eh, belanja whole class makan!!

                Me : Why?

                Qki : Your law get 88( actual mark is 80), highest!

                Me : Har?

                Qki : No har. You belanja arr. Thank You Gabriel!!

                Some of them nearby : Thank You Gabriel! 

                Me : =.='', okay lorh.

Then, YY got highest in Econs, so I just took the chance, and said "Me & YY belanja drinks arr". Haha, my way to get around things~~ So that was why the photo above was taken.

You see the two of them. Memang suspicious~

Today really has plenty of problem, didn't know what was wrong. Everybody kept laughing and laughing. Haiz, the killer was Sue Jenn. Didn't know what happen to her, taking the 'short'cut, ended up have to U-turn.

I'm doing this post now, because I really feel like crying. Yes, CRY. Mainly because I was looking for pictures of Luke Tan, and I went to her blog. I never read her old posts, but now I read them, all those memories come back to me. The kacau-ness at the club, the frog disection, the memories in form 4 and 5. I really miss them, Wei Yang, Steph, Yee Yan, Yee Kang, Nia Jian, Yun Chen, Derick, Adrian, Daniel and so many more. Tse Yau, Zit, Kuan, names not there because I still see them frequently. But really, when you go to college, somehow you tend to miss those great friends in secondary school.

Finished presenting

Finished my presentation for law yesterday.

The law presentation worked well, but of course today's was a little haphazard and haywire. Overall, I think I'll give my part a 8/10. The others did quite well. Personally, I loved Kenneth's part, he really got the crowd going. Too bad YY didn't want to come after me. I would really liked him to do it. At least I could have improved.

Good job to all my teammates, and thanks to the rest for listening to us. I really do hope that we could do that again.

Life, an endless path to the end.....

 

 
 

Looking at these two pictures, I realized it was quite some time since I did my thinking in the rain. I was always preoccupied with stuff last year, such as tuitions and activities. Now, SPM is over, and college life starts knocking up the door. I really never had the time to really wander off in my thoughts. Today, was the day I did some thinking, think about what I really liked, about what I have done, about the past, present and future. It was random, but I really liked the feeling. Thinking is one thing I like to do when I'm alone, just me and images.  Heh, photographic memory, I really hope that I have it, but sometimes not having something good is not bad. Well, I could rely on photographs instead.

Another thing is that I just don't understand why almost everybody updates thier blog at midnight? More ideas?

Finish cleaning the house

Exhausted, 2 days I've been cleaning the house. Another one of the few times standing 2 metres above ground level with nothing but a small platform that can barely hold my feet. Ahh, nervous moments. Anyway it was hell of tiredness when I finished on the 1st day. The frustrating thing is that I still have room and the living room, PFFT!!

Next day, mum said "okay lar, others finish jor, now you clean your room, I make my cookies". All I could give her was an annoyed+shocked look, then walk into the super duper messy room to start work. The battle lasted until around 2 when Zit came. Then I went out to a nearby coffee shop and had lunch. I was really thankful that he came and gave me a break. Thanks Zit!!

Finally, when I came back, the room was already cleaned by my dad and aunt. Seems like the living room didn't take much of thier time. Anyway, after that we started sitting down and played "chor dai di". Won 80 cents there. I was thankful that I didn't lose because I was losing badly from the start but manage to make a comeback at the end. Zit and myself walked away without much damage, while my sis lost a bit to my dad. Ahh.

At night we spent the time at the mamak in Menjalara. Whopping RM50 meal for 7 person. At least we were full when we left. Then, the whole family loitered at a shop till 10 to fix my aunt's phone. Zit went back halfway, and I stayed up in front of the pc till 1am.

Today was short and simple, spending most of the time at home relaxing. Now I'm worried that I don't have pants ironed for tomorrow, and I am not TOTALLY NOT prepared for the test on wednesday, not to mention that I haven't touched my law tutorial workbook. I think I better get them done right now before I regret.

Summary:
1) Cleaning the house was tiring
2) Spent some quality time with Zit
3) Have to get work done now
