Don't honk at me!

I am at Walmart. I happened to get a good parking spot today. Not a normal thing because I normally just take the first thing I see and don't care that I have to walk a half a mile to the front. Wes tells me to visualize and I will always get a good spot but I figure I might as well get in the exercise. I pay and I am walking out to my car. I am on the phone with Will. I only have 3 things in my cart but it is such a nice day I am in no hurry. Mckelle is in my front carrier. I am not paying much attention to anything and just enjoying my time. Then I look up and someone in a truck is parked a few feet from me and waiting for my spot. I am seriously annoyed. I have not even unattatched Mckelle and I really don't feel like hurrying. I am even slower because I am on the phone. So I tell Will about how I hate when people wait for someone so they can take their spot. He tells me to go slower. I just chuckle and continue at my nonspeedy pace. I finish and I am going to return my cart to the cart rack (I always do this. I am not doing it to be obnoxious) As I start to leave with it to put it away, the man in the truck honks at me and points at my car. I am really annoyed at this now. But instead of being a jerk, I put the cart out of the way so he can pull in safely. He had better have used that cart though. I get so mad at people who do this. I hate when I am stuck behind them because they are waiting for someone. I hate to be pressured to hurry. I hate that there are a million spots and they are too lazy to take another one. I am usually pretty considerate. I don't box people in on the road. I don't pull out infront of people if I think I am going to slow them down at all. I blinker. etc. Don't you honk at me!

Caught with your pants down!

We were at the "walking track" (a place where we always go walking/running). The kids love it because after 3 laps, we get to walk down to the creek and throw rocks in it and if it is warm, we get to get in the creek and play. Well, Cole has been having a real hard time minding lately. After our last lap, we played, and finished another lap. I told the kids to run to the car so we could get home. Cole ignores me and starts running another lap. I tell him to get back here. Of course he won't. He hunkers down. I load up Sage and Mckelle. I put the stoller up and I tell him one more time to get in. He won't come so I get in the car, start it up and back up. I look at him, he jumps up and is crying hysterically. Then I notice, he doesn't have his pants on. They are down around his ankles. I get out and go over there. He says, "Mom, I was just peeing and then I was going to come!" I am laughing so hard and he is so upset he can't pull his pants up. I help him and off we go to the car.

I was going to...

Yesterday was Will's birthday. I was going to decorate the house with streamers

I was going to finish the laundry and clean the house

I was going to decorate the cake that I had baked

I was going to get him a few little gifts from the kids

I was going to give him a massage

I was going to make him a special dinner

I did sit in bed while he took care of the kids
I did throw up a few times
I did have him make a diner
I did leave the laundry in the washer and dryer and middle of floor
I did tell him happy birthday
I did let him give me a back rub
I did tell him all I was going to do.

I love him and am sorry he had such a poor birthday. He did take it with a smile though and was wonderful to me. Happy birthday William!
