The Circus

We went to the Piccadilly circus a few weeks ago. They were giving out free tickets to all kids under 12. The ticket said it was a $9.00 value so I figured if it was $9.00 for kids for an adult it would probably be around $15.00. The day we were going, Dempsey got pretty sick so Victoria stayed home with her and McKelle. Zeke, Cole, Sage and I loaded up in the van and took off. The address didn't show up correctly on my GPS so we were about 45 minutes late. Then when we got there, we had to have a bathroom stop before entering the show. When we got to the ticket booth, the show was about 5 minutes from intermission and they were going to charge me $30.00. Are you kidding me? They told me I should just wait and come back for the later show but it is 40 minutes from my house and I have a bunch of kids that are young. I was not about to do that. I asked them how much show was actually left, they told me it would be about an hour and a half or so. I figured that would be long enough for the kids and paid the crazy price of $30.00. So then, we get in and there is a kangaroo boxing some woman. Zeke thought it was so funny. We only made it for the last 2 minutes of that act. After that was intermission (a half hour long) and then about 2 more routines. We were in there for approx. 1 hour and half of that was intermission. I was pretty livid! This circus was terrible too. Sage liked the dancers though and Zeke thought it was pretty good so that is the most important part. Cole, well you can tell by his pictures how he felt about it. He went last year with his Dad to the big one and you could say, he was not impressed. Okay, I can't get the picture thing to work so if I ever get it working, I will add it to the post.
