Blue Bonnet Birthday

Happy Kitchen Sink Monday!! I made this birthday card for my sister...she lives in Texas so I thought the blue bonnets would be appropriate! I stamped the flowers with the following inks: Step 1: Barely Banana, Step 2: Bashful Blue, Step 3: Baja Breeze, and Step 4: Marina Mist. The greens were stamped with Certainly Celery and Garden Green. The butterfly was stamped with apricot appeal, rose red and early espresso.

I then cut the image out with a nestabilities from spellbinders. The DP is from Prima, the ribbon is from the really reasonable ribbon store, and the pearls are from Zva Creative.

Happy Birthday, Randi!!

Hello!! Some of the Our Daily Bread Design Team Members have gotten together today to celebrate our dear friend Randi's birthday with a little hop!! In the past 26 years, Randi has survived four different bouts with cancer, with help from the Lord and the talented physicians He sent to her. Randi is a true inspiration to all who are lucky enough to know her. She is a wonderful, witty, talented, and beautiful soul. Please pray for Randi as she walks down an unknown path, full of faith that her God is with her always.

For my card today, I have used the Birthday Blessing set. This set not only has a wonderful teacup image, but also some very beautiful sentiments. Her I have used on of those. I have punched the sentiment out with an oval punch and layered it on a lacey oval nestabilities. I then paired the sentiment with some Prima DP, some sheer ribbon from the Really Reasonable Ribbon Store, and some pearl flourishes from Zva Creative.

Happy Kitchen Sink Monday!!I sooo love the new Multi Step Old Truck set! It makes the most wonderful masculine cards!! Here I have stamped the truck with the following colors: Step 1a: Rose Red, Step 2a: Real Red, Step 3a: Cherry Cobbler, Step 4a: Going Grey, Step 1b: Going Grey, Step 2b: Basic Grey, Step 3b: Basic Black.

The truck was then cut out with a spellbinders nestablities and the background sponged with some antique linen distress ink. I paired it with some DP from Stampin Up, and some ribbon from the Really Reasonable Ribbon Store.

Now, onto my card for today! Here I have use the stunning Grunge Cross image! I stamped it with memento black ink and cut it out with an elegant oval nestabilities exclusively made for ODBD! I paired it with some wonderful Prima DP, ruffled white ribbon from the really reasonable ribbon store, and some half backed pearls.

Happy Kitchen Sink Monday!! I have a fun summery card for you today! The cherries were stamped with the following inks: Step 1: Rose Red, Step 2: Real Red, Step 3: Cherry Cobbler. Them stems were stamped with old olive.

I then cut the image out with an oval cutter and layered it on a beaded oval nestabilities from Spellbinders. The DP is from Stampin Up, and the ribbon is from the really reasonable ribbon store. To finish off the card, I added the fun gem flower!

Sweet Teddy!

ss="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"> Happy Kitchen Sink Monday!!  I so love this little multi step Teddy Bear!!  Here I have stamped him with the following inks:  Step 1:  Tea Dyed distress ink, Step 2:  Tea Dyed Distress Ink, Step 3:  Soft Suede, Step 4:  Early Espresso.  I then cut the image out with my creative memories oval cutter, and layered it on a spellbinders nestabilities.  To finish off the card, I added some DP from Prima, Gems for Zva Creative and ribbon from the Really Reasonable Ribbon Store!

For the Love of....Scenic Stamps!

Now onto my Scene! Here I have used one of my favorite sets - Quite Waters! I just love this image of the doe and her fawn! So fun to color, which I have done here with copic markers. I then cut it out with a circle cutter and layered it on a beaded circle nestabilities. I then added the sentiment from the Birthday Blessings set which is layered on a fancy label from Spellbinders. I used some DP from Prima, twill ribbon from the really reasonable ribbon store, and finished off the card with an antique brass brad from Stampin' Up!

ODBD August Blog Hop!!

Welcome to the Our Daily Bread designs August Release Blog Hop! I'm so excited about this month's release! These new bookmark sets are just soo fun! I know I will make tons for gift for my book club friends!

Now, onto my creation! Here I have used the wonderful Bookmarks-Trees set! I made a simple layered bookmark by stamping the image in Always Artichoke ink and the sentiment in Soft Suede ink. I then added a large antique brass eyelet, and some wonderful ribbons from the Really Reasonable Ribbon Store. To finish off the bookmark, I added a few half backed pearls colored with a dark green copic marker.
