For my card today, I am trying to gear up for Christmas already, so I have created a Christmas card with the wonderful Bless This House set! Here I have stamped the image and then cut it into one inch pieces, and covered each piece with glassy glaze to give it a mosaic tile look. I then created the poinsettia with the spellbinders poinsettia die! To finish the card off, I added some ribbons from the Really Reasonable Ribbon Store!

Now, hop on over to Deb’s beautiful blog to see what wonderful things she has in store for you today! Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great day!

Fall Beauty

Happy Kitchen Sink Monday!  Yep!  I am sooo excited for fall to come!  Not that we have changing leaves here in Southern AZ, but I am looking forward to some cooling weather!  For my card today, I used the multi step Autumn Squirrel set.  I stamped the leaves with the following combinations.  For the yellow leaves, I used Barley Banana, More Mustard and Chocolate Chip.  For the red leaves I used Regal Rose, Rose Red and Chocolate Chip.  For the orange leaves I used Apricot Appeal, Dusty Durango and Chocolate Chip.

I then paired the image with some fall colored ribbons and buttons, and dry embossed the background with a cuttlebug embossing folder.

I stamped the image and then distress it a bit with different fall ink colors.  I then used the cracked glass technique on each of the leaf images to give it a little texture!  Finally, added some teal ribbon for a pop and the sentiment which is from the Birthday Blessing set.

Time to head on your way through the hop...next stop, Kathy's AMAZING blog!  Have a great day!
