Upcycled inside sentiments on Christmas cards

The sentiment is an upcycled inside of a Christmas card that I layered it onto patterned paper by K and I and by Bo Bunny. I colored the Holly and berries with Copic markers.

The sentiment was die cut by Spellbinders and then inked the edges with distress ink. The striped patterned paper is unknown but the red patterned paper is by Stampin Up. The Santa stamp was black heat embossed and colored in.
Thanks for looking.

Santa Claus cards

I have some Santa Claus Christmas cards to share. The Santa stamp is by------. I stamped it with Versa Mark ink and heat embossed it with red embossing powder by Ranger. The off white paper the Santa is on happens to be the back piece of paper of a stack of checks. Upcycling is the best.

The patterned paper is by Bazzill, the ribbon by Making Memories and the glitter cardstock behind the image is by Recollections.

So the picture below shows the first Santa card I made which includes a piece of gold diagonal stripes behind the image. I just didn't like it. I thought it was too busy or maybe I could say it better as, I didn't think the card needed the extra paper. The Santa face is so interesting to look at. Without the gold paper the focus is on the face where it should be.

Thanks for looking.

Stamp N Plus Christmas card

Today I have a card that is also being featured on the Stamp N Plus blog

The Santa stamp that can be found HERE was heat embossed with silver embossing powder using Versa Mark ink. Then I decided to give him some life by coloring him in with paint mixed with powdered chalk also by Stamp N Plus. The colors I used were Flesh for his face and Stardust for his beard. The hat part of the stamp didn't leave much room for color but I did manage to spread a little of the red chalk on there.

The red doily looking die cut is by Spellbinders and the circles were cut out using my Creative Memories cutting system. I hand cut the Santa out and if I could find my foam adhesive I would have popped him up but they are not making an appearance today or these past few weeks. I wonder if they got thrown away by accident. Maybe it's time to buy some new ones. I hate going into the big box stores because I never make it out of there with just my one item. Same for online shopping. Why not fill up that $6.99 shipping box, Right?

Anyway, The houndstooth patterned paper is by We R Memory Keepers and the flower paper and green circle paper is by Making Memories. The cardstock is by Recollections or Hobby Lobby. The sentiment stamp is also by Stamp N Plus. I'll include a picture of all the sentiments that you get when you purchase the sheet. See below. I stamped it with white craft ink by Stampin Up. The piece of cardstock was longer but I cut it off at the Santa to make it look like he was saying it. Kind of a stretch, I know, but work with me:)
So that's my card for today and now that I'm done with one wedding I move onto the next one, which is August 3rd. It's coming up fast and I have some time consuming work to get to. I hope to post more consistently even though I'm working on other stuff behind the scenes.

One last thing is this card would be perfect for the Christmas Cards all year Round challenge going on until the end of the month, which is All about Santa. Be sure to join in on the fun going on over there.

If you would like to order this set of rubber stamp sentiments by Stamp N Plus call Luann at 715-271-1873. Well worth the money. I reach for these over and over again.
