Hello Everyone!! Today I have 3 very gorgeous Girly Bits polishes to show you!!! I received these for Valentine's Day in a secret cupid gift exchange!  My friend, Emily, had my name and she spoiled me SO much!!!  You can find her on her blog, http://doctorphilegood.blogspot.com/, or on Instagram as @DrPhileGood.

You can purchase Girly Bits from http://girlybits.bigcartel.com/, Llarowe - Girly Bits, and Harlow & Co. - Girly Bits. Prices vary from $10 to $13 depending on the item (some are higher due to materials) and the shop. Another couple of places to order are Mei Mei Signatures and Overall Beauty.  So many options to get your Girly Bits!! ;-) And with so many different shades, I'm sure there is something for everyone!

A great way to stay up to date on Girly Bits is through Facebook! Pam, the owner, updates restocks and includes swatches of colors! Another great way to see upcoming collections is by following Pam's Blog! Harlow & Co. - Facebook, Llarowe - Facebook, Overall Beauty - Facebook, and Mei Mei Signatures - Facebook.

I have a ton of pictures today...and got a little Matte happy mid swatching...lol

First up, Long Winter's Nap!

This is 2 coats with Clearly On Top by KBShimmer.  I love the dusty color to this, along with the little pops of blue, dark blue, and silver glitters.

Yummy bottle shot!!  I love blue, so this is definitely a keeper in my book!  It just has so many beautiful shades of blue in it!

Close up!!

For the next mani, I used a base of 2 coats of Zoya Lotus.   Love the pink shimmer in it!

You can purchase Lotus HERE! This is a Share the Love link, which is a way for me to earn points through them! So cool for me, but you guys can get something too! See what Zoya wrote: Remember EVERYONE WINS with "Share the Love": When someone clicks on your personal link and sets up an online account, a $5 coupon a coupon for a FREE Bottle of Zoya Nail Polish will automatically be placed in their account and can be used immediately on their current order. TIP: If you use this coupon and add 2 more polishes to your order, you get free shipping too! The coupon will appear in the "My Coupons/ Promos" section of their "My Account" Page.

Pretty great deal! I don't see any promotions right now, but I was able to get a bottle of their Qtica Growth Stimulator https://www.artofbeauty.com/rd/0111DC19 (another link!) for the price of shipping (a $20 value!) through all their gifts of Share the Love points - didn't even do anything! Zoya had other promotions over the Holiday season, so they should be bringing back more prizes for Share the Love points soon! YAY! I have some more points that I can't wait to use. :-D

I then topped with Heirloom and finished with a coat of Clearly On Top by KBShimmer.

What a stunning mix of glitters!! Pinks, purples, and silver!  I love it!

Lotus was a bit difficult to capture, but I think this is a great shot for color accuracy!

Close up!!

Then I decided to go for the Matte About You by Essie!  1 coat over top, and this was as smooth as satin!

Love, love, love how this turned out!

I know, a billion pictures, but isn't it so pretty!?

Close up!  The shimmer of Lotus is still coming through a little bit!  Love these two together!

Last but not least, we have Visions of Sugar Plums!

This is two coats, with Clearly On Top by KBShimmer.

How gorgeous is this purple jelly with these iridescent glitters?! They glow like crazy!  I love it.

Close up!! Doesn't this look crazy?  My camera may have spazzed out a bit, but overall, it's that flashy in person!

And because I can...I topped it with Matte About You by Essie.

Can we say love at first sight?!

I know I'll be rocking this often.  I want to layer this too!  I love the squishy purple jelly by itself, but I can think of a few fun combos I must try!

Close up!! Am I the only one drooling here??

A HUGE HUGE thank you to Emily for sending these (and many others that will be shown later) for me for my Valentine's gift.  You are such a sweetheart and I am so thankful to have met you!! *squishes*

Hope you all have a fantastic day!

Much Love,
Crystal

Girly Bits - Stormy Skies and Indian Summer!

Hello!  Today I have a tape combo for you using Girly Bits!! I love these two separately and thought they really complimented each other together!

I applied 2 coats of Stormy Skies and topped with Seche Vite.  Once that was dry (I watched TV for an hour, but it was plenty dry before my show was over), I applied tape to my nail.  A way to prevent the tape from being too stick is to apply it to your hand a few times to remove the tackiness of the tape.  I apply each nail separately and paint 1 coat and immediately remove the tape.  I love the crisp line it leaves.  I then finished with Seche Vite top coat.

You can purchase Girly Bits from http://girlybits.bigcartel.com/, Llarowe - Girly Bits, and Harlow & Co. - Girly Bits. Prices vary from $10 to $13 depending on the item (some are higher due to materials) and the shop. And Harlow & Co. offers free shipping over $50 to anywhere! And Girly Bits website is free shipping over $60. Another shop is Overall Beauty, with great customer service and quick shipping! Also, I haven't had the pleasure of ordering from Mei Mei Signatures, but I hear great things about them! Gotta love all the options to get your Girly Bits!! ;-) Each site has different polishes in stock right now, but they are worth checking out!

The combo is subtle, yet in some lights you can see the Indian Summer blue looks a little darker.  I think Indian Summer would be pretty layered over lots of colors!  The dark colors would probably bring out the gold shimmer and give a different look to the glitters!

Love this bottle close up!  Look at that gorgeous gold shimmer!!!

Stormy Skies bottle is so pretty too!  The little glitter shimmers sparkle so beautifully!  It kind of reminds me of a less sparkly Fathomless!  Almost like they could be in the same family of shimmer/glitters.

A couple close ups!

I hope you enjoyed this tape mani!!  It's been a while since I've done one, but I love how this turned out!!

Have a great day!!

Much Love,
Crystal

Girly Bits - Roger That

Hello!! Today I have a very, very special polish to show you!  This is Roger That by Girly Bits.  This is a Memorial Tribute Polish dedicated to Brady Rogers.

Included with the polish was a beautiful note that said:
July 21st, 2012 our community was shocked, and deeply saddened by the sudden deaht of a local teen, Brady Rogers.  Brady and his closest friends and family were at his come celebrating his high school graduation when Brady collapsed and died of an asthma attack.

In his 6'4 red haired, blue eyed frame, Brady was larger than life in spirit and personality.  He was one of those kids who left an impression on everyone who's path he crossed, and he loved his friends and family deeply and wasn't afraid to show it.  My daughter came to me and asked if I could create a polish, in Brady's memory, and donate the proceeds to the Brady Rogers Memorial Bursary Fund at Kingsville District High School, from which he graduated from just weeks before.  Her and her friends came up with 2 colour inspirations, a sparkly blue, just like Brady's eyes, and a beautiful orange, just like his ginger red hair.  The names?  "Roger That" & "Gentle Ginger".

$5.00 from every bottle sold goes to the Brady Rogers Memorial Bursary Fund at Kingsville High School.

So incredibly sad that such a young life could be taken so quickly from loved ones.   What a wonderful way to honor and remember Brady.  Even though I don't know those mourning personally, my heart goes out to them, as I'm sure he is greatly missed.  I'm sure he looks down from above and smiles at this wonderful way in which he is touching the lives of so many through these beautiful polishes.

Roger That is a blue linear holo.  I used 2 coats and it applied perfectly.  This first picture shows how it would look in the shade (using my lightbox).

Still using the lightbox, I was able to get some of the holo to peek out!

I love this shot!  This polish is stunning :-)

Here are some pictures using my bedroom/kitchen lighting to draw more of the holo out.  I have to say, I'm really missing the sun during these winter months!

A couple close ups!  This is the light box!

This is the kitchen lighting!

I hope you enjoyed this look at Roger That!  I love when polish is for a good cause.  I can't imagine what his parents, family, friends, and community must be feeling.  I can guess though, he will always be missed, but never forgotten :-)

Enjoy the weekend!  Anyone want to do my Christmas shopping for me?? hehehe

Much Love,
Crystal
