Purrchance To Dream

Last year, when I rescued Pete, The Cat Blogosphere created an "Official Not The Mama Seal Of Approval Award" for being a cat blogger who steps forward for every cat in need, always caring, always giving.



That touched me, and was one of my very best days as a blogger.  Recently, the story of Whitey at Gandalf and Grayson's blog has touched me, too.  And so, I would like to give Barb (some of you may know her from Will Think 4 Wine) the Official Not The Mama Seal Of Approval Award, and name today as Three Cheers For Barb day!

Not The Mama has a friend, whose daughter has a doggie-blog as part of her home-schooling projects.
It's a great blog, about Mini The Dog, and if you haven't popped over to say HELLO yet, you really should!
Mini gave us an award recently, and Not The Mama kept taking naps and forgetting to post it here... but we were very happy to get it from Mini!

I must say that I am very honored and touched.
Stinky Pete is sleeping on a purr pad by my feet right now, his little belly full of stinky goodness. After a few hours of being nervous last night, he started playing -- he LOVES Isis's scratching post with the springy ball on top!

Junior makes rocks because he's always looking out for his Meowm. At Juniorababee, he's the Big Man Cat with a heart of solid gold.

Dragonheart from Dragonheart's Domain is not only an awesome friend, but the coolest looking cat around! He's a Sphynx! And if anyone ever makes fun of the way he looks, I'll scratch your eyes out. Just so you know.

Cocoa from Grr, Midnight, and Cocoa loves TheLady. But he also has two wonderful sisters to keep him company, Midnight and Grrr. He's a floofy black kitty who was a feral kitten, and now is a blogging genius! Plus, he's my friend!

Reno from Forty Paws is a real trooper. He's not one to let a little thing like having a scarred third eyelid stop him from enjoying life and sticking his head out the cat-flap in the rain! His adventures with the other 9 kitties & Maw make me laugh, and touches my heart.

Merlin from Merlin's Meows is my step-sister Daphne's beau. But he's also a good friend of mine. He took in little Dobby and treated him like one of the family, just like that. Makes me proud to call him a friend.

Our other top competitor in this category is Birdchick.com - while we love Sharon, and her Disapproving Rabbit, Cinnamon, she's a famous blogger (I mean, she travels the country and appears on radio shows and lots of stuff, while we just blog) and Cinnamon's a famous rabbit. Again, don't you think you'd rather vote for us, the underdogs cats?!?!
