It was two years ago this week that we brought PJ home to join us.

PJ is our problem child and our bully bully, but we love him.

We just wish he'd stop compulsively bullying Little Isis.

Chill out, dood. And Happy Gotcha Day.

Happy First Gotcha Day to our one and only PJ.

We can't imagine life without you, Peter Junior.

Over the years, our beloved Pete was the one gracing our St. Patrick's Day post. So we thought it only fitting that our sweet PJ follow in his footsteps and get all gussied up for a bit o' the luck o' the Irish.

And Little Isis, below, also thought she'd get into the act, chasing leprechauns.

Watch your necks, PJ managed to escape being zombified, but couldn't escape the curse of the Halloween photoshopping!

Our iDaddy leaves today to go back to University in London, UK.

We cannot tell you how much we're going to miss him. He lights up our lives, and fills our hearts with love and laughter. He gives us treats and spoils us rotten (we love it when he slips us a secret treat and says "Don't Tell Boss.")

Here he is holding Sonora and PJ, when their adoptions were finalized and they were permanent members of our purry gang.

We know this is the best thing for our iDaddy - to get the very best education he can, and have it paid for by scholarship. But we just wish it wasn't so so so far away. He'll always be close in our hearts, and we can Facetime with him regularly, but we want him HOME with us, curled up on the couch snuggling with us! We love you, iDaddy, always!
Today is also Little Isis's GOTCHA DAY. She loves her iDaddy so much, and this will be really hard for her, but we will all be strong for her!

PJ and Angelo love to wrestle, like most kitty brothers. Angelo doesn't care that he's a several weeks younger than PJ, and is about half PJ's weight. He holds his own. Here are some shots of the brothers, in between wrestling matches on the bed. Enjoy!

Family Stuff: I was rescued by a nice lady, along with my littermates Lola, Beau and Dallas. She brought us as fosters to Petco, where my iDaddy saw me. He says I reminded him so much of his dearly departed tuxedo Peter.
Not The Mama arranged for me to get adopted as an early Father's Day surprise to iDaddy, and guess what - Lola, Beau and Dallas came along as foster kids in our house! Lola got adopted right away, but Beau and Dallas are still here as fosters.

Nick-name Not The Mama calls me: PJ is my nickname, my full name is Peter Junior

Down-under: Fixed. If I had a Twitter account that would be HASHTAG NO NUTS. #NoNuts. Which reminds me, hey iDaddy - why don't I have my own Twitter account yet?

Pet Peeve: Getting locked out of the bedroom, like when old Auntie Spooker is sick. When that happens, I start singing the song of my people.

Favorite place to sleep: I love to sleep between my two daddies, on my back, with my legs up in the air, purring away.

Favorite Things: When I can't sleep with my iDaddy, I like to sleep in a Forty Paws Hammick.

I also love to head-butt my iDaddy's chin.
I also like to play fetch, and jump onto people's shoulders when they stand too close to something like the back of a sofa.

Favorite Toy: Mr. Mousie

Favorite Color: red

Interesting Tidbit: My iDaddy says I have lots of mannerisms and do things that remind him and NTM of Peter.

PJ is the little tuxedo kitty in our family. We were devastated when Peter left us suddenly this past winter, and when we saw PJ (Peter Junior) we just fell in love with him. He's such a character, but he has some characterizations and mannerisms that remind us so much of our dearly parted Pete, while being a little rascal with his own enormous personality.

PJ is adapting well into our home. He spends the overnight hours sequestered with The Peppers, so they can get used to each other (and so we can sleep!). The first few days, there were some growls and hisses amongst them as they got used to each other, but last night and today they seem to be getting along great.

This morning, he was wrestling with Sonora on the cat tree in the office, and it just made us smile. And sometimes, like when he lies with his back legs all akimbo, he reminds us so much of our late Peter.
PJ has been such a great addition to our lives, who makes us smile, and we're so grateful for this little ball of purry energy.

Today, one of the kittens from The Way Home found its new Forever Home: ours.
Please join us in welcoming Peter Junior into our family. He'll be known as PJ, and he totally stole Eyad's heart. We met this little tuxedo kitten last Saturday, and Eyad thought about him all week long - how much we miss our dearly departed Peter Peter, and while we know that no one can ever replace Peter in our hearts, this little dude known as PJ can help ease the pain and grief we still feel. PJ got to come home today with us, and there's been a few hissings so far, but we know that he and Sonora are close enough in age that soon they'll be like brother and sister.
Right now he's curled up between us on the couch, purring.

And Eyad's already introduced him to his MAC:
