Things we do in California...

1. Go to the park nearly everyday.
 2. Eat In-N-Out.

 3. Have cousins over to watch football.
 4.  Pose for pictures after church.
 5.  See amazing sunrises.  And sunsets for that matter.
 6.  Take dance classes that we don't like.  Okay, let me explain.  Rose was taking a big girl dance class that she despised.  For 3 weeks the teacher would tell me "I just don't think its working out."  Ha!  So now we take a "Mommy and Me" class together, all 3 of us!  Its actually really fun.

Halloween

Okay I will say this...I absolutely hate it when people "catch up" on their blogs.  Its annoying.  But I'm doing it in case I ever want to make one of those blurb books someday.  So here's Halloween 2013.

Rose wanted to be a blue princess...so I guess that means Cinderella?  A movie she's never seen before.  How do they learn these things ha?  Also, I cringe at the idea of buying costumes.  My mom made most of mine and I absolutely love doing it.  I feel like its my love language or something.  Like, I might not always be the best mom but I will sew you an entire wardrobe to show that I love you...or something like that.  So here it is...store bought costumes.

Rose suggested that Liney wear her Doc McStuffins costume that she got for her birthday.  What a great idea!
We went to our ward's Trunk or Treat...on the dreamiest of nights, but they are all pretty dreamy I'd say.
The next day's breakfast in bed!

First weeks in the Bay Area

Our first couple of weeks here we spent hanging out it our awesome apartment that we lived in temporarily for our first 2 months in SJ.  When we got here, Mike's brother had moved in a week earlier so pretty much all we wanted to do was hang out with them, so we did ha.  Mike's mom came to visit and we went to Carmel and Monterey.

 Dennis the Menace park.
One night we (accidentally) spent $50 on pizza.  Why not!? ;)
Our apartment was hooked up with free cable so we watched lots of college football.  And were not so happy when our team lost.
We checked out a Giants game.  Its a little far into the city but super fun.  I've always to see that stadium.

They have a fun little kids area.  Rosey was a real slugger!

Going Back to Cali

Our last night in WA was spent in a hotel in Bellevue.  We had breakfast a non-kid friendly Jewish deli, so that was interesting.  I think Rose enjoyed it though.
Peanuts!
Since we were moving into temporary housing in San Jose, we had to have suitcases full of stuff to last 2 months.  We're talking books, toys, clothes, the whole nine.  Here's how we arrived: 2 car seats, 3 carry ons, 1 double stroller, and 11 suitcases later.

Its so interesting living in CA again.  People ask us where we are from and its always like "Where are we from?  Or where did we move from?"  Although I was ready to leave the rain, Seattle is where my heart is.  Or maybe I should say Washington.  I'm seriously in love with that state.  We have spent 5 of our 7 years of marriage there (with a little Connecticut in between ;)).  So for now, I'm still claiming Seattle.
