Who is Scarier?... Santa or Buddy the Elf?

My brother -in-law Casey, was asked to Winter Formal about a week ago, and Santa was part of it. Marlee wasn't quite sure about Santa that night. So I took her to our Ward Christmas party and thought I would give it another try. Buddy, the Elf was there too. I don't know if it was Santa or Buddy that she was so afraid of. Maybe next year she can make it through the Santa experience!

Monkeys in Pajamas, Jumping on the Bed

I was at my mom's house watching Marlee and Bromley when all of the sudden I heard them laughing like crazy. So I went to peek on the excitement and found these two having the time of their lives while jumping on the bed. Marlee came up to me with this big happy face to tell me how much fun she was having!

Random pictures over the past two weeks

I left the pantry door open (oops!), I discovered that I can fit three little ones in car seats in the back of my car, Marlee being silly and wearing racquetball glasses, and her playing in her new Little Tikes play place. (great Craigslist investment!)

Thanksgiving in Colorado

We had a fun time in the chilly weather on Ivan's family's farm in Colorado. We got to take Marlee on a four-wheeler ride and she didn't like it at first, but once she froze, she enjoyed it! We had a great time hanging out inside with family. Marlee got to ride a horse too...(well, it was a stuffed animal, but maybe this summer we can take her on a real horse!)

Marlee and Mabel

Fun times with cousin Mabel in Colorado. Marlee would wake up in the morning and say, "Baby!" and get all excited to find Mabel. When Mabel went down for a nap, Marlee would look at her on the video baby monitor and check on her. They had fun together and Mabel is always all smiles.

Girls are just cry babies... :)

We tried to get a picture of Marlee and her cousin and second cousins.(From left to right- Kara, Laurie, Mabel, Makell, Haylee, and Marlee.) I never got a picture of when they were actually happy, I didn't get to my camera until this picture. Once one baby starting crying is was all down hill from there!

First and Last time I will be doing a tag....

So I was tagged by 3 people in the past couple of months and they are three different types of Tags. And since I am not the greatest at it, I am replying to all three of them and kind of modifying them. I am tagging anyone out there who wants to do any of the following three tags. Take your pick!

You've been Tagged...

1. I am horrible at spelling.
2. I dream of being in the Mormon Tabernacle Choir someday.
3. I enjoy doing dishes, but can't stand to clean the bathroom.
4. I am pretty much a "to the point" person when it comes to calling people on the phone. For example, my dad said that he knows when I call that I am calling for a reason, while everyone else in my family calls to chat. I don't really like talking on the phone, I would rather talk in person.
5. I love Sunday's! Day of rest and relaxation!

6. I love sports. I like watching almost all sports and if I when I am not pregnant, I enjoy playing sports, especially basketball.

7. I love to play games and anything fun. Like bowling, card games, miniature golfing, etc. (oh yeah, I am competitive too, when it comes to games and sports!)

From curlers to fairy

This was Marlee's first time with curlers in her hair. She actually kept majority of them in. I was hoping it would work so she could have curly hair to go with her little fairy costume. I had fun making her costume. What a fun Halloween this year!

Marlee Turned One!

I can't believe Marlee is One year old! Time sure does fly! Well, we had an eventful Birthday Week. My sister's and their families came in town from Utah, we celebrated with family and friends, and we enjoyed watching Marlee start to walk on her birthday. What a joy little ones bring into our lives. Here are some posts/pictures of the eventful week of Marlee's First Birthday. Thanks to everyone who made it so much fun and to the generous gifts.

Birthday pictures

The first picture is when Marlee woke up on her First Birthday! I took her to PETCO because she loves dogs. We looked at the animals there, and then I took her to Jamba juice. After that, we met up with the Nicole, Shawn, Zach and Brayden and went Birthday shopping. We hung out at my mom's and Nat and Bromley were there. Then when we got home, Bobbi and Mack came over and to top it off, Lisa and Sydney came over too! This was probably her favorite birthday :) because she got to see almost all of her favorite people!

Marlee eating her first birthday cake(cupcake)

YUMMY!!!( I had cupcake in my mouth when they took this picture!)

Schnepf Farms

We celebrated Marlee's birthday at Schnepf farm and had a lot of fun with family and friends. We played on the playground, went to the petting zoo, rode some rides, and roasted marshmallows at a fire pit. Let's just say that Marlee slept so well that night because she was worn out!
