Welcome Home Uncle Gavin!

Uncle Gavin returned home from his mission after serving in Uruguay for two years! What a special thing to be a part of. Marlee was only a few weeks old when Gavin left and was a not so sure of what to think about Gavin holding her. Josie was obviously not around, but was feeling comfortable in his arms! It was a great reunion. Collin, Amanda and kids were there as well as Grandpa Guy and Grandma Marg. We are so excited to have him home! (Amanda made matching shirts for all of the grand kids.)

Trick or Treat

This year Marlee was starting to get the concept of trick or treating. She got a sucker from the first house and was perfectly content with that. She carried it in her hand the entire time and could have called it a night right then. We did take her to about twenty more neighbors houses. After that night, she would come up to me and say, "I wanna say trick or treat and get candy."
We went trick or treating with Grandma, Grandpa, Kyle, Bobbi, Mack and Brody. We went to a neighborhood haunted house that Uncle Casey was a part of. He was wearing a mask and scared Marlee enough to where she talked about it for days after she would say,"Casey 's a monster, he scares me!"

At the Lake on Halloween?

Our good friends, the Parkinson's, invited us to go to the Lake on Halloween and we were a little skeptical of the water being freezer; however, it turned out to be a perfect day to go to the lake. I hadn't wake boarded in years, but I was able to get up and have a few good turns. Ivan did great and had fun too. The girls enjoyed being out on the lake, the motion of the water put Josie right to sleep! The Butlers also went. Sorry Julie and Lisa, I didn't get you in the picture :)

Play Ball...

Every year my dad plays three weeks of Baseball(not softball) with guys he use to play with when we lived in Utah. Its fun to watch as he plays in the younger and older league tournaments. I know the grand kids had a great time playing and watching their Papa play ball! Marlee and Bromley had a great time cruizin around together on their trikes; while Josie and Weston just crawled around.

Schnepf Farm

One night, we were hanging out with Ashleigh (One of my Young woman) and I asked if she had been to Schnepf Farms and she said no. So we loaded the girls in the car and we were on our way. It was a lot of fun!
