Fear not; for, behold,
I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.

For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

...Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.

Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

...behold, there came wise men from the east...

We had a fun time acting out the Nativity scene Christmas Eve.  The boys got into their parts, and it made me think a little more about what it would be like to be there when the Savior was born.

We spent Christmas Eve, and Christmas morning at home with just our little family.

Christmas Eve the boys each got to open a package of pajamas.

Christmas morning came with a lot of excitement!

Keaton was cute playing with the toys.

James was very excited about his basketball, and basketball clothes.

Taylor loved all of his transformer stuff.

Jake got some basketball clothes,

and I got my blog book for 2011.

We really enjoyed Christmas together!

Merry Christmas!

We started our Christmas break at Jake's parents.

The boys were spoiled with toys and clothes that they love.

They especially love their new horse.  (His name changes every day).

As soon as we got him home James made a bed for him, and got a wet rag to wash him off.  He pretends to feed him carrots and apples.  Taylor and James pretend to put on their racing hats when they race him.  They love him!

It was nice to see Jake's grandparents!  I think they really enjoyed Keaton.  He liked them too:)

The spirit of giving!

At Taylor's preschool they had them cut pictures out of a magazine of things they would want for Christmas.  Taylor put on his wish list that he wanted a football mug for his dad, a waffle iron for me, a red scooter for James, a blue scooter for himself, and a game where you shoot animals for the whole family.  He was very thoughtful of everyone else.

Taylor and James have both been so excited to give gifts to other people.  They found a box and dumped a bunch of their toys in it.  They had me wrap it, and they gave it to Keaton.  They've made gifts for a lot of other people too.  It makes me happy that they are so excited to give.

Six months old!

We took Keaton to the doctors today, and he weighed 16 lbs and measured just under 26 inches.

Over night he became such a big boy.  We started feeding him rice cereal.  He got his first tooth.  He is rolling all over the place.  He sits up on his own.  He is supposed to stay our little baby boy longer:(  But he has been a lot of fun.  We sure love him!!

You better watch out.

 You better not cry.

 You better not pout,
I'm telling you why.

Santa Claus is coming to town!!!

Do you notice all of the boys in deep thought telling Santa what they want.  Except for Keaton, who is just wondering who is holding him.  James asked if we could park our truck next to the reindeer:)  I told him the reindeer were on the roof.

The Littlest Christmas Tree

Taylor's preschool class did a Christmas play called the littlest Christmas tree.  Taylor played the littlest Christmas tree.  It was really cute.  It was about some families who went into the woods to cut down a Christmas tree.  The littlest tree was sad because he didn't get picked.  Then some birds came and decorated him with feathers, and some bunnies decorated him with berries, and a star came down from the sky and sat on top of him.  He was happy now, because he became a very special Christmas tree.
