Bees Game

We finally got back up to a Bees game.  We did one earlier this year with Drake's baseball team and have been trying to get back to another one but have been to busy.  We made it to almost the last game.  The kids have never sat up in the upper deck so we did that this time.  We told the guy we needed to be on the end of a row so we could get out easy with kids and he put us in this corner you couldn't get out of without climbing over a bunch of people, so that wasn't much help.
These crazy kids never can give me a good picture but I guess you can see how they are from the pictures.
We had a good time together watching the game and sharing ice cream and food with each other.  It was a good game too.
I did make them all give me one decent picture of us together before we left.
The kids were pretty excited when they heard it was fireworks night.  So we had to stay even later so we could watch.  Firework shows at baseball games are pretty good though so it is worth it.
After the game and fireworks were over we had to walk a long way to get back to the car because their were so many people at the game.  Then drive back to out trailer on the mountain, but that saved us about an hour of driving so that wasn't to bad.

A little Sunday football!

Football is happening everyday here even on the days they don’t have games or practice they still end up playing it out front.

Some days it flag and some days just touch but you can almost always find a football game here.

Sometimes they can even get Jay to join in on the game.

Mom is always the score keeper with the little boys.

I do have the cutest little helpers though.

Kenyan doctors visit

Kenyan had his first doctors visit since he was born. I’m terrible at taking my kids to the doctor. Kenyan loved the doctor. He thought she was so funny especially when she listened to his heart and lungs and said he had puppy’s in his tummy and kittens in his back. He didn’t love getting his shots but stopped crying as soon as they asked if he wanted a sucker. He is 31 inches and 31 pounds.

First day of school 2018-19

Well the time finally came to send the kids back to school!  Most of the time I am excited for this day. I am excited for the kids to have that break from each other that my kids seem to need at the end of summer. I am ready for a little peace at home and time with my little boys and naps again for Kenyan. I am dreading waking kids up and getting them out the door with their lunch!
This year we have Mason going into the 7th grade. He will be at the middle school alone, no other siblings there. He is already doing football there. They started last week. He loves it!  He is the only one that has to ride a bus to school and he doesn’t like it. He is the first one to leave us each day. He gets to play the trumpet at school again this year, he is still trying to get out of that. He is a cute and fun kid who really just loves life.

Elly is going into 4th grade this year!  She is growing up way fast and still wishing she was older than she is. She has Mrs Sawpan this year.  She is still busy doing gymnastics and is now doing flag football too!  Elly is pretty fast so flag football is a good sport for her. Elly is always making things and writing notes to everyone. We love getting love notes from Elly!

Drake is going into the second grade this year!  He is very excited to see his friends again but not excited to go back to school. He thinks they don’t teach him anything. What a funny kid!  He is playing flag football this year and is so excited for their first games.   This boy loves sports!

The saddest part of the kids going back to school is that Tyler is going on to the High School this year. I’m not ready for him to be this old or to go there. Tyler is a freshman this year!  He is very excited about it and doesn’t understand why I’m so worried about it. Football has also already started for him. Tyler is loving it!  I’m excited to watch him this year in sports and school and see how it goes!  I’m sure it will be a good year for him.

I wasn’t able to get a picture of all of them before Mason left for school. I only got the three of them.

Plus I wanted a picture of all my kids together so I could remember how old the little ones were when the older kids went to school.

Elly and Drake ride their bikes to school pretty much all year. They don’t love it but it builds character right? Most days they ride to school with one of the boys in our neighborhood, Nate.

Kenyan, Tatton and me had a great back to school day!  We went to lunch with my friend and then Kenyan got to just play with his toys and have nobody bother him all day.

Tatton 4 months old

This cute little guy is growing up way to fast for his mom!  It is making me sad that he is getting bigger.  I’m not sure how much he weights or even how long he is.  Tatton is the sweetest little baby!  Tatton is always so happy.  This little guy hardly ever cries even when he is hungry. We are all loving our sweet little boy!

I seriously can’t get enough of his cute little face. He is finally starting to get a little fat on him, most of it in his bum.

I love his cute eyes and that sweet smile!  Oh how I love him!!

I wish I could slow life down for a while and just really enjoy this sweet little bundle of joy!

Last summer fun!

Our neighbor wanted to do a beach day so we went to Huntington lake and spent the day there. They brought a jet ski and paddles board and we rented some kayaks. The kids had so much fun!  We were there for hours. Tatton and me pretty much hung out on the shore so he could stay in the shade.

Dad loved taking the kids out on the jet ski!  Elly is such a water kid.

Drake and Jaxton has so much fun in the kayaks. They paddle them out to the bouy and back a bunch of times. It was pretty windy so there were waves all day.

Kenyan didn’t want much to do with the water until about and hour or two before it was time to go home. He finally dared to get in the water and then he loved it!  He pushes his truck in and out of the water and thought it was the best.

Mason brought Matt and Zack with him to the lake so he would have someone to hang out with. These boys played and played in the water and loved riding the jet ski!

Tyler had Josh there to play with. They loved the jet ski to and playing on the toys that were at the lake. They skipped rocks and then played a scary game with a knife.

Elly was sure Tatton would love the water.

Dad and Rob had just as much fun as the kids playing on the jet ski as the kids did.

We had a great day!  It was a great way to end the summer, to bad we didn’t do more of this during the summer.

Brock’s wedding

My brother Brock got married today but before we went to that we took the kids that were old enough, Ammon, Gracie, Reagan, Tyler and Mason, in to do some baptisms and conformations. While they were there I went in and did initiatory. When the kids were done Jay went in and did some initiatory too. This was Masons first time getting to go to the temple.

After the temple while we were in at the wedding the kids went over to the Farr ice cream store for some ice Cream. The kids really thought they needed some especially after trying these little yellow pepper that were growing in the flower beds at the temple.

We were actually able to do some of our own family names and some for our neighbor. Our ward made a goal to get 1000 ordinances done in a weeks time.  The ones we did actually were enough to get us there and past.
We got to see Brock and Meagan before they went in to get married and decided to get our picture with them before since we had to leave as soon as the wedding was done.

Mine and Camilles families that were able to come to the temple that day, other than our husbands, plus Reagan and Ammon.

Me and my forever!  Glad we made this choice years ago through the good and tough times. I sure do love this guy and am glad he puts up with me!

Tyler’s hair!

Tyler hasn’t had a haircut all summer and he had school pictures tomorrow at registration so we decided we probably better do something about his hair. I said let’s trim it and he decided to just get it cut but not without having some fun first.

I have him the need haircut, as I call it, first. Oh we laughed and laughed at it.  He looked so much older than with his shaggy hair.

This was what we ended with. His normal hair cut but with it a little longer on the top.
