Ugh
This week has not been so fun. I'm going on my third day with the flu and it's terrible! I've been throwing up, diarrhea, etc. This is the first time I have ever had the flu like this. Usually I get a mild 24 hour bug. I think it must have something to do with getting no sleep. My body is definitely much more worn down than before we had our little Brooklyn. She still likes to pull nights where she's up every 1-2 hours. I am just counting down the days until she is old enough to learn how to sooth herself back to sleep. I don't know how much more sickness I can handle!
That's a pretty boring update...but I have no other news for now. I just hope none of you get this flu that I have!

Winding down
So it has been a while since I've been one here. Nothing exciting has happened, but I have been busy. Brooklyn keeps me hopping all day long it seems. She always needs something! So things are settling back to normal after all the company. As most of you know we blessed Brooklyn last Sunday at our house. It turned out so nice. Thanks to all of you who came and supported her and our family on that special day! We are so lucky to have so much good family, and I loved having everyone there.
There is a little new news. Josh and I have both finished our AA's in Business. It's nice to be done with at least one degree no matter how small. Josh will be starting his bachelors classes soon and I am still debating. I want to finish. Just trying to get the timing right and all that. Right now Josh is going to keep going with business. We want to open up our own business someday. We just don't know what type we would want to run. So we'll see what the future brings.
We are also moving again. I'm tired of packing everything up. This will be the third time in less than two years of marriage, but it'll hopefully be worth it. The house is beautiful and is over on Power and Germann. So we will be in James and Nicole's neighborhood. As far as we can tell it is a really good investment opportunity and will help our family so much. I'm so excited for things to be going so well. Josh and I have really been blessed. Part of our blessings are coming because of such good family. I'm so grateful for that. Life is going great for us right now. It's just a fun and exciting time for us being so young and starting out with a new baby and a new home. Hopefully we can set a good foundation for a lot more years of good things.
Anyway, we love you all. That's all that's new in our lives for now!

Brooklyn's Blessing
So you all know...we are blessing Brooklyn on Sunday, January 14th at 11:00 am at our house. So we'll just meet there a little before and then have lunch afterward. All the family is invited. Just let me know if you will be there so I can plan food for everyone. See ya then!

What do to...
I think I'm having a little bit of that post holiday depression. The season seems to be over right when I'm starting to really get in the holiday spirit. We spent New Year's Eve at James' and Nicole's house. We ate a lot of good food and played games most the night. It was really fun. I'm suprised I stayed awake that long! Little Brooklyn is wearing me out. Now that all the fun is gone I'm really bored here at home. But busy at the same time...
Brooklyn is now two months old. So yesterday she had her check-up. She weighed a whopping 9 lbs 2 oz. The doctor says she has been staying around the 10th - 20th percentile since birth. Her length is a little higher in the 35th. She is still wearing most of her newborn clothes. At least the ones she isn't too long for. Overall he said she looked good. The jaundice is all gone and she seems to be happy. After the good news the doctor left and the nurse came in to give the shots. She got three all together and I haven't gotten a thing done since. I can't keep her happy with one thing for more than half an hour. She'll only eat for ten minutes at a time, then she screams. She'll play on the floor for about 15 minutes and then scream. The longest she has slept has been 30 minutes. I thought for sure the Tylenol would knock her out, but so far it hasn't helped much. So I've just been feeling sorry for myself. Hopefully by tomorrow she'll be back to her normal self and take good naps for me again. I'm just happy she is smiling now. It helps me forget what a stinker she can be.
