Christmas 3 Blox

Christmas 3 Blox

I finished the 3 Blox design this summer.
I think it's the only Christmas piece I've stitched
this year that I've kept for myself.

I'm so sad that Angela is stepping down as the admin of this blog.  She has been a wonderful host.  I'm so glad that she had the idea to start a Lizzie Kate Lovers blog.  We love L*K and we love Angela.  Angela will continue to be a member but I'll be taking over the hosting duties.  Thanks to Angela for all she has done to get this blog going and recognized.  I'll do my best to follow in her footsteps.

I hope that you'll continue to post often and share your L*K finishes with us.  Please feel free to email anytime at dianealtemeyer@gmail.com

I hope everyone has a great weekend and is finding their Christmas Spirit.

Looking for a new hostess!

**Edited** I have a new hostess thanks to everyone that offered.

Hi Everyone!

I am wondering if there is a member that would like to take over the hosting duties of this blog? Basically all that is required is sending out member invites for new members. I am backing away from most of my hosting duties next year and don't want to leave this blog hanging :)

Please send me an email at apxstitch@gmail.com .

Many thanks,
Angela

Green Flip Update!

I'm still enjoying stitching this one, I just wish I had more "me" time to devote to it! I finished the Save Water block a couple of days ago and also took a picture of the 3 blocks completed so far!

Thanks for looking!

In All Things....

I just wanted to share w/you part of my T'giving decor. This is from a really old LK pattern, but I still love it, altho' it is actually a little darker than the pic shows. A gal who used to sell her handmade buttons in my shop yrs. ago made the leaf buttons to go w/this design. I think she did a great job on them!

Thanks for letting me share and I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving!

A little something for DH as a thank you for treating me to tickets to see Kylie & Take That with Robbie Williams next year!  I think a bottle of of his favourite tipple will probably be more preferable but I've wanted to stitch this cutie for so long this is my excuse for stitching it!!!

Love Keeps Us Warm!

Design: Love Keeps Us Warm
Fabric: 28ct Mushroom EW
Floss is DMC alternates
Started on October 20th
Finished on November 1st

I think this is my FAVORITE LK finish so far! I have a special "fondness" for Snowmen and this was my second LK chart purchase that I have had (just about forever) in my collection and I finally got around to stitching it!

I had the snowflake charms in my stash and felt that the hats were a bit "naked" without something :) I painted the box in a mushroom color to match the fabric and used that awesome Snowman fabric that I got at Fabricland last month! I didn't add a cord trim to the inside of my box as I really wanted the focus to be on the Snowmen.

Thanks for looking!

New Designs! **Edited (again)**

I found these designs listed for sale on the Silver Needle website, link below

http://www.thesilverneedle.net/lizzie-kate.php?Reloaded=True&osCsid=3f500668d4a076ae6b87e551e59f26a7

Not sure why they are already listed there and not on the Lizzie Kate homepage yet?

I had to add this new one too! Isn't this the cutest chart you have ever seen??? You know what I'm gonna be stitchin up soon :) Thanks Linda all 3 designs are awesome!

Everything is good again as I am totally loving both of these designs! That Snowman is taking top priority on my list as soon as I am able to buy the chart :) I'm not sure what to finish it as though, decisions, decisions!

I'll have another finish to share with you all soon it's in the final stages!

Noel freebie.....

I've been going through some of my older freebies and decided to stitch this one in brighter colors.  I really like the blue/red combination!  Hope to get a few more of these done before Christmas.

What do you think?

Of the newest Lizzie Kate designs?
Do you like any of them? Are they on your stitching list? I like to consider myself one of Linda's biggest fans because I like every single chart she has ever done but these ones just don't command my attention (sorry Linda) and I wondered how others felt too.
I'll have a couple of LK finishes to share with you all soon :)
Happy Stitching,
Angela

Prayer Connection

Here is my latest offering. Its L*K Prayer Connection and I have been busy stitching it since sunday, although with a 2 day break as Tel came home. So its appeared quite quickly and was a good enjoyable stitch.
Can any of you lovely ladies help me with something... there is a chart 'thank heaven for little boys' that I thought was Lizzie Kate... but I can't find it anywhere. Is it by L*K and is it still available?
Thanks for looking x

Fright Night

This is something I stitched ages ago, but never made it in to anything until just the other day. I made it into a bellpull, but still need to find a small dowel rod. I used Halloween fabric on the back, but the stitched fabric is 26ct. White Birch Heatherfield, w/tiny flecks of color in it. I found a gold metallic tassel that picked up the gold beads I used in it.
The gold beads were used in the bat's eyes and the cat's eyes, plus randomly all around the cat. I also used lime green metallic braid in the swirls and in the cat's hat.

Thanks for letting me share and I do hope you'll come by for a visit.

Hello Everyone

Hello
I'm Lucy, a new member here. I'm 34, live in North Wales and have been cross stitching for...erm... 27 years!!! My first stitching was done at school age 7 on a piece of green binca.

I love L*K designs and am currently stitching 'I'll get my elves on that'. Its nearly done but I ran out of red and had to order more.

You can see more of my stitching at my blog. Looking forward to getting to know you all.

For Sale or Trade

Hi members,
Seeing as I have now stitched the Green flip its I am happy to sell them or trade with someone if they would like.  The set is all of the charts in excellent condition and the border chart, there are no buttons.
If you would like to buy them, think of a fair price you would like to pay and take into account postage (from Australia) and email me with an offer - I can only accept Paypal.
If you would like to trade, take a look at my blog and there is a list of my favourite designers and items I like in my sidebar, email me with your offer and we will take it from there.

First come, first served!
Visit my blog, go into my profile and my email is in there.  Look forward to hearing from you.

Recent finishes

Since most of these are LK (minus the PS Snowman) I thought I'd share them with you all. I'll probably use them for Xmas gifts this year.

Please excuse the wrinkled cloth (too lazy to iron) but here is my progress on the Green Flips SAL. I managed to stitch another block and start on the 3rd and final block on the right hand side. I was hoping to be further along but I got sidetracked with an exchange and a challenge.
Please feel free to update your SAL progress at anytime, I just chose Mondays because it's the easiest day for me to post.
