Lund Bros on Sunday

The Lund Bros are playing the "Four O'Clock Rock" show at the Sunset on Sunday with The Bug Nasties and some other folks. Although it's hard to rock in the daylight, I dig early shows.

I may have posted this or a similar video by them in the past. But, while I'm talking about the Lunds...

The Bug Nasties CD release this Friday, 5/4

The mod rocking fellows of The Bug Nasties are having a CD release party this Friday (5/4) at The Funhouse. The poster for the show (and the cover for their disc) have some pretty awesome graphics. But, sadly, the files are too large to embed in the blog. So, you'll have to click over to see them.

The disc, titled "Which Way You Gonna Go?", is coming out on the local Flotation Records label.

What I've heard on their myspace page makes it sound like the disc is a rip, roaring, shouting, soulful good time.

Show tonight (3/11) ....self serving

Hi all,

If you're free tonight, there is an early show at The Comet Tavern featuring The Scheme, The Zero Points and The Bug Nasties. of course, as the bass player for The Scheme, I've got a vested interest in saying "it will be a good time." But, don't let such conflict of interest prevent you from coming down and rocking out with us.

It's an early show, with The Scheme starting at 7pm on the nose.

A punk rockin' good time @ Comet (9/15)

If you're in the mood for some punk rock sounds from days gone by (meaning punk rock as it was closer to 1970s than 2000s), head to the Comet on Friday.
