Know what I hate....

Having to spend money on these!!!
I decided on Sunday I would do my hair straight, which I never
really do! I just don't like having to put 30 min or more into
my hair!(plus I really, really hate the mess of hair it leaves on the floor!! sick!!)
But, Sunday I decided I would do it! After drying it and starting to
straighten it I noticed it really was not working! I was a bit slow
but I figured out my straightener was only getting kind of hot! Well I do not
have the kind of hair that warmish works for!! It took me like an hour
to get it even semi straight! I was ticked! I put in all that time to have
freakish straight hair! I could have done 5 min and had freakish curly
hair!!! And now I have to buy a new straightener! BOO!!! I hate having
to buy stuff like this! Stuff you really wish you did not have to use in
the first place!!! I would way rather buy a pair of Nike's! Guess I should not complain,
I have had the same straightener since high school!! So any who...anybody out there
have advice on the right one to get? This is IMPORTANT!! It can make
or break your hair!! (literally!)

In case you were wondering...

THIS is what I am up to....

Trying to get anything done with someone pulling on your pant leg!!

ALL the time, really slows me down!!

Trying to let boys be boys!! :)
Teaching Hayden to share!!!
I baby gated off the whole kitchen! SO he just stands there and shakes it!!!
Practice makes perfect right!! He's taking about 5 steps on his own
before his head weighs him down!! Guess that's what happens
when your noggin is in the 95th percentile! :)
Hopefully, that just means lots of brains right!!! :)

Good times around here!!

Why do I....

Why do I LOVE these silly little holidays that give me the chance to do silly stuff like.....

Make Hayden a shirt such as this!!! And then be proud as heck as he sported it all day!

Make heart shaped pancakes! (well technically Steve MADE the pancakes, but I made them hearts!) Hayden clearly appreciated the gesture!

Beg Steve to order us the heart shaped Pizza for dinner!
(luckily he is a good sport and humors me! Except when I wanted to wear
a shirt that said I heart Steve on it! NEXT YEAR!!)
This guy was lucky enough to get 2 REAL Valentines, sent in the mail and all!! In the above picture Hayden thought he would give Remi a big kiss! (He has started kissing all sorts of random things this week! Weirdo! Guess it's better to get it out of his system now!! :)
He loved the lion that lit up!
Thanks to both sets of grandparents for thinking of
us! We love you guys!

Is it silly that I am already excited for, and planing how to turn our food green! Or how I can somehow make the St. Patrick's Day shirt that I am dying to buy for Hayden sound like a smart purchase to Steve-o! Nonsense I know, but I do love it!! Here's to the bowl full of green M&M's coming our way!
