Halos

birthday week continues here in the Wilkins household. on friday night we were watching my siblings while my parents were up watching chels' game up in utah. i got a call from bret saying his work was selling $5 tickets to the Angels' game. I love going to baseball games and it was free hat night at the stadium! sign me up! we had a blast, noah and faye and reese just liked the ice cream sundee's! and to be honest, i did too!

i love my little sister faye. it is so fun hacing a sister that is 6, 6 is an awesome age!

Noah, the best kid ever! we were listening to 102.7 on the radio on the way to the game and some rap song that was inappropriate came on and Noah said. "why do people make up stupid songs like this, we need some jazz! turn it to 94.7!" Classic Noah!

birthday week

and so it begins, my birthday week. to kick it off we went to PF Changs. I don't care if it is a huge chain restaurant, i love it! it was DELICIOUS! thanks girls i have great great friends.

I am now married to a CPA

Last night as we were about to retire for the evening, I was on my laptop and Bret was on his, then I heard those two words and saw the biggest smile ever!

he said it calmly and let it sink in,

...."I passed."

my amazing husband passed his last exam, not just passed, knocked it out of the park! I am so proud, and he is so humble. the tests were so hard for him and he really had a hard go of it, however he never gave up faith and kept going. i always knew he could do it and he did too.

when i asked him, jokingly, "what are we going to pray for now?"
he said, " we are going to pray for thanks that i had help passing my exams."

you are right. thank you thank you thank you

Little Dancer girl

lots of firsts this week, school, and now this. Dance class that she has been begging to do for a year now. Reese was in absolute heaven today. I loved watching her, I am not a dancer, hopefully she likes it, I think its safe to say that she does.

First day

Reese had her very first day of school today. It was wonderful and she ran right in there. I was so so so excited for her. I love school, and still LOVE school. I think that everyone knows by now, if I could I would be in school here for the rest of my life! I digress, she did awesome and I spent the whole morning wondering what she was doing and how she was doing. I love that little one so much!

In other news my birthday is 11 days away. I love birthdays and I go all out for the other bdays in our house, so I will be doing the same for mine! hahaha! What to do for the big day???

how did this happen?

Reese starts school tomorrow. I do not know how this happened. Really I mean how did she become a school-age child? I have been a mom who treasures the moments with her kids, I never really am one of those that look back and say, oh I miss that stage, because truth is I don't I really have not ever missed any stage because each stage gets more and more fun, however I think that this might be kind of hard for me.

I realized that she is really growing and is now going to be attending school regularly until she is all grown up.

And for a little moment I was sad,

I am so excited for all of her adventures and the learning that she has ahead of her! Can't wait for tomorrow!

Back home

The best thing is getting back from a trip and then unpacking and settling back into your routine. I love that. We had a wonderful time, we had a great visit with friends and family. Highlights include

-watching chelsea's vball games
-brick oven pizza
-beautiful weather
-watching BYU beat Oklahoma
-Cafe rio
-Johnny's drive-thru thirst station
-hanging out in provo with my sister until midnight
-walking around campus (even said!)
-riverwoods
-laughing with family and loving every minute!

I am lame and I did not bring my camera, honestly I am a loser! However we did take pictures of Davis and Reese. They are only 5 days apart and they are both cute, chubby babies! I love love love love all my in laws and we had the best time! I can't wait to go up again!
