Themealicious May wrap up

 

So the theme for May was monochrome... pretty hard task! Well to make it easier, the actual rule was the following:

Monochrome May

Pick a color, any color, then stitch only on projects that contain that color for the month!

My initial plan was to pick blue and work on Spring and on Howl. But I'm oh-so-good with plans. In the end I picked... yellow. I myself was surprized by it.

As I confessed last time, I gave in and not only bought a pack of Randal dragon charts, but even started one. This particular start has those huge chunks of colour, you won't say it's a Haed, lol!

The first rows were done in the last week of april while the rest in May - I forgot to take more wip photos so I have only one to show you, as it is right now:

I honestly don't now if this counts, but I barely stitched anything else in May :D

Jumanji June

Is it a jungle out there in your stash? Give some love to the projects with animals or birds.

Hm, animals and birds. Well, the suspects this time would be  the beaded penguins, the Bathing day with the plushies (plush animals should count!) and I guess the dragon too. But there won't be as much stitching in June as I might wanted, because I'm starting my exam session now. I've sheduled some posts with crafts and stuff I've done from March till now that I just forgot showing, so at least there will be something happening here! And I will try to check blogs now and then. These last weeks I've been bulk reading everything in my Feedly once a week, and commenting rather randomly. So sorry to anyone whom I missed commenting! I really love seeing all of your works and read all about crafts and books and life, and I promise to get back to active commenting once the exams are over!

Предизвикателството за май беше... монохром. Доста трудничко, поне за мен! За да улесни участниците, Хедър беше предложила следното тълкувание "Изберете един цвят и шийте само по проекти, които го съдържат". Е, така... горе-долу го докарах XD

Първоначалният ми план беше този цвят да е синьо и съответно да работя по Пролетта и по Хоул. Обаче вместо синьо... излезе жълто.

В началото на май се похвалих/оплаках, че по време на разпродажбата на Хаед не можах да устоя и си взех комплекта книги с дракони на Рандъл Спанглър. Също така си признах, че се поддадох и започнах първата от поредицата "История на шоколада: любовна история". Тази схема съдържа доста големи блокове от цветове, почти невероятно за Хаед и затова се шие доста лесно и бързо. Също така съдържа доста жълто-златно... и това се превърна в моя цвят за месеца.
Не съм сигурна, дали се брои, но докато надничах по блоговете, открих и други доста по-заобиколни тълкувания на темата, тъй че мисля, че става :D

Темата за юни пък е Джуманджи :D Още не сме си отдъхнали от Амазонския април, и хайде пак в джунглата. Този път условието е различно - проекти с птици и животни. Заподозрените в случая ще са мънистените пингвини, Ден за баня (плюшките се броят!) и драконът. Но за съжаление, през юни няма - или поне не би трябвало - да има значителен прогрес, защото сесията ми започва. Насрочих няколко поста с неща, които съм правила от март насам, но така и не съм постнала, така че поне тук в блога ще се случва нещо :) Четенето и коментирането също ще пробвам да не зарязвам - или поне не повече, отколкото в момента. И сега я карам на едноседмична проверка на фийдлито и случайни коментирания на постове. Затова се извинявам на хората, чиито постове съм пропуснала да коментирам. Винаги ми е интересно да чета и за произведенията и за книгите и за всичко останало :) И се надявам скоро да мога да реванширам!

Theme-a-licious May

Hello there! I keep dissappearing, but you should be all used to it, lol XD Now let's get straight to things!

 For the Amazon April wrap up, I don't have much more to add since the check in post. I haven't stitched more on the SP Fairy, and the reason for this is... the Haed sale. Actually, I susally am quite good at restraining myself during those sales, but this time I saw the whole collection of Randal Spangler's Books of dreams, and I just couldn't resist. Besides, it was like 11 patterns for the price of 2 or 3!

Eeer, and as you can guess, greedy me has started the first Book right away. I actually managed quite some, but I couldn't take a picture and will show you only after the 24th of May, after I go home again. But even before then I hope I can show you something more related to those adorable dragons!

As for the May theme...
Monochrome May

I think it's the hardest one so far! I still can't make up  my mind, but I will probably go with blue. I use the same shade of blue for the sky on Spting, and on Howl, so that would be a good excuse to work on them!

Yawn, only 1,30 past midinght, and I'm already sleepy, how unusual for me :) I hope that tomorrow I can shoe you some beading stuff, and some of the Postman files!

Smog

These last days I've been trying to catch up on reviews as I actually have some reading challenges finishedq and all I need is review to count them off. But I had some time to stitch too, mostly while watch ST and today Torchwood, as I haven't figured yet how to stitch and read.
So I grabbed my Steam punk fairy and went stitching the second page= True, things so far haven't been very exciting. All I've been stitching is the boring smogy background, but on the next row as I'm going down, I'll be straring the cute hair bun and the yummy pinkish ribbon.

Последните дни отчаяно се опитвам да наваксам откъм книжни ревюта, защото имам няколко предизвикателства, които са си изпълнени и прочетени, и остава само да им добавя ревюта, за да ги броя напълно приключени, честно и почтено. Но ми остана малко и за шиене, най-вече под съпровода на Стар Трек, и днес Торчууд, защото още не съм измислила как да чета и да шия едновремено. Проблемът е в обръщането на страниците.
Затова си грабнах Стийм пънк феята и се заех с втората страница. Наистина, досега тя не беше много интересна- ших само скучния фон от пушеци и смог. Но със следващите редове трябва да стигна сладкото кокче и разкошната розова панделка, така че има какво да се очаква :D

Wipocalypse March

So it's this time of the month again. Time does fly with all the challenge dates one should watch about. Luckyly for me. my wipocalypse and themealicious go perfectly together and with Feb and March's themes I can show you quite some wips... but with not that much done, lol! For the March madness I decided I will try and work a little on every wipocalypse wip (as I have unstarted yet projects on my list, don't mind this). So starting the month these recieved about half an hour or a little bit more of love.

За щастие моите Темалишъс и Уипокалипс се разбират много добре заедно, и затова все пак имам какво да покажа след темите за февруари и март. За мартенската лудост реших да пробвам и да поработя малко върху всеки един от започнатите вече проекти от уипокалипс списъка. Ето какво имаме засега...

Here we go with the whole list:

• Spring in Japan. Remember her? Sometimes she's called Winter's Majesty, like the Maia kit. I'm not sure which one I like better, but I'm happy with mine too. But with the weather outside, "Winter"does sound more legit. And look, I almost finished my fifth page! What's left is few stitches inside the flowers.
  

Японската пролет - помните ли я още? На някои места се нарича Зима. В момента за да е в унисон с температурите, последното би и отивало повече. Но ето че петата страница е почти готова - остава още малко вътре в цветчетата

• Steampunk fairy - just one colour in the first two square of the second page. Photo could be better but the sun didn't really show this afternoon, Meh.

Стийм Пънк феята не е напреднала много, само един цвят от първите две кавдратчета. Но тя не е и прицелна за момента.

• Next we have Ametyst that replaced the TOS. Since the last time you soaw her I got only 4 rows of her dress done or something like that. But this is actually her first entrance in an official wipocalypse post!

TGE, OSOS, and the Storykeeper should get some time this month too, but that will be for the next wipocalypse. I will just add that I did stitch some tinies but can't show them yet.

TGE, OSOS и Пазителката на истории също по план трябва да получат малко време този месец. А и мога да добавя, че по последната Уипокалипс точка - за дребосъци, имам от предния месец даже четири направени, но не мога да ги покажа тук още. Дано скоро пристигнат!

What else should I say in today's post.. oh of course - Happy 8th of March to all women, doesn't matter if it's official in your country or not, I still wish you to be as pretty, awesome and fun as you are, and even happier than you are now.

February Wipocalypse!

Finally comes my check on post for the February Wipocalypse - I actually have a kind of good reason for this, but ut will have to wait.
First I want to say thanks to all of your who shared their Star Wars stories on my previous post. All of them are great. I aready knew I had the most awesome followers ever!! And it was so nice to know some of your understood my fan based babble, crossing the realms of different fandoms. If a day comes, when no one gets it, I'll be seriously worried, but for now I'll keep going! XD
On the followers note, I've seen that the number of follower have grown, so welcome to all! I can't find out who some of you are, so if I'm not stalking your blog back, probably this is the reason. I'd love to, so if you don't mind me hanging from time to time around your pretty blog, you can share its address in a comment :)

Now for the Wipocalypse, yay! The last month has been very successfull and stitchy, simply due to the fact that I had a vacation after I took my exams. Second semester starts next week, so the amoutnt of stitches in the next months will be visible smaller.



Here's my Wipocalypse list:

This is the reason I'm late with my check in. I can't remember if I said it or not, but I restarted the Steam Punk Fairy - I'm doing it now with 2 over 1 instead of 1 over 1, and I'm much happier this way. I had the page almost finished by the actual Wipocalypse date, with only only a handfull of stitches left. But they were all over tha page and of every possible colour so filling them all was hell. For the next page I'm def planning to try the block by block thing. I won't be starting it right away though.

At first when I started it, the background looked super wierd to me and got me worried that I was doing something wrong, or that I mesed up with the colours. But I saw one SP Fairy finished on the Haed site and she has the same BG.

I really love this piece. It was amost impossible to let go of it and work on something else (I'll show some elses some other time!) and the result is a lots of fluff for the TUSAL jar along with two broken needles (now i'm out of 28 needles and this sucks) and a bandage on my finger, lol XD The scanner didn't do justice to the colours, killing the Kreinik sparkle and making it all grey, but as much as I dislike taking photos, I'm not sure the camera reslut would be better. Anyway in real life I feel like hugging it XD

On brighter side I tried I new way of finishing (bookmark) and I did the first of a seriec of different quotes I want to make. It was also my first iotacon apart from the usual cute Dork Stitch sprites.

So what do you think, 2 finishes from the ocalypse list, sounds nice, no? So here's my greedy plan : I decided to add a project to the wipocalypse list, a.k.a. the list of permitted starts, for every one I finish. It will be hard enough to choose wich ones though!

Това е постът за февруарския Уипокалипс, с който закъснявам почти седмица, но всъщност си имам извинение. Него ще го споделя обаче след малко.

Първо искам да благодаря на всички, които споделиха своите истории за Междузвездни войни, за Йода, и които изобщо схванаха за какво се говори в предишния пост, особено при кръстоските между различни фендомове. Аз си знам, че имам най-готините читатели, и това се потвърждава с всеки следващ коментар! :))))

А сега за Уипокалипса - въпреки стряскащото му заглавие, това начинание представлява просто работа върху списък проекти, който даже можеш да обновяваш, и да се напъваш да ги свършиш, после веднъж месечно хората се събират да се похвалят със случващото се.

Аз мисля, че за този месец имам доста за хвалене :D Просто защото, тъй като бях във ваканция след изпитите, ми остана доста време. Настоящият ми уипокалипс списък е

Това беше и причината да се забавя с поста - почти всичко бе свършено преди нарочената дата, бяха останали само шепа бодове, които затова пък бяха разпилени по цялата страница и във всеки възможен цвят, та затова ми отне доста време да ги попълня. Но аз съм си инат и реших, че няма да го покажа това, докато не го завърша.

От начало, като я почнах, фонът ми се видя страшно странен и насечен, и се обезпокоих, че нещо съм объркала, я схемата, я цветовете, после обаче проверих на сайта на Хаед една завършена фея, и нейният фон също беше така. Иначе много много си я харесвам как става, нищо, че диадемата ми изкара душата и продупчи пръста, докато я направя. А на живо Крейникчето така хубаво и мекичко бляска, нищо че скенерът го е хванал съвсем сиво. Изобщо направо ми иде да си я прегърна феята. XD

January Wipocalypse check-in

So, it's time for the first Wipocalypse post for the year! Getting excited!
As I posted these previous days some progress on projects that are in the wipocalypse list, I'll use that clause where it's stated we can use links. I'm pretty sure I saw it somewhere, even though now I can't find it.
Now this is my Wipocalypse list, I added one more and it's Death as the Hogfather! I've been dying to stitch it for some time now, but wasn't sure if I want to add another big project to the list. But when I checked it this weekend, it turned it's not as big as I thought it was, so here we go! I've also decided I'll add to my wipocalypse list projects that are meant to stay at home/or for family, and not ones I make for presents and such, because they're usually smaller, I decide on them at the last moment, when it's just not appropriate to add them, and because I decided to be selfish this year and try stitching more for myself *mwahahaha* Last year I gave away most of my finished works, some of them I didn't even have the take to take a picture of.
Anyway, here's what we got:

• Random Selection of characters - that includes sprites, tinies, chibies and such. I know that the definition is a little too wide, but I have some things in mind. This time I stitched these tinies from Dork Stitch

So, let us start with the tiny ones! After seeing Yugi last time, you should have known what's coming next. That's right, the owner of the Blue-eyes white dragon, my fav character from the series - Seto Kaiba. It's one again from the Dork Stitch blog where Missy flawlessly captured the antigravity coat of Kaiba, which he has because the mangaka didn't gift him with antigtavity hair. I know I promised you more Yu-gi-oh themed babbling, but since I'm sleepy now and have more things to show, I plan to skip it, but hardly someone is going to miss it. I just have to add that with this sprite stitched I'm totally out of place on my board and will have to think of other way to display the tinies I stitch in the future.
И тъй, да започнем представянето с другите дребосъци. Най-напред някого, за чиято поява предварително съобщих, и която трябваше да се очаква след Юги - притежателят на Синеокия бял дракон, любимият ми герой от поредицата - Сето Кайба. Отново от блога на Dork Stitch , където Миси безукорно е уловила вида на неподчиняващото се на гравитацията му палто, с което мангаката го е надарил, предполагам след като му е отказал антигравитационна коса като на останалите герои. Бях планувала още да разнищвам темата за Ю-ги-о, но тъй като ми се спи, а и имам и други неща за показване, смятам да пропусна, пък и се съмнявам някой да остане дълбоко разочарован от този факт. Ще добавя само, че сега съвсем ми свърши мястото на корковата дъска и няма къде да си забождам следващите геройчета.

Ah, isn't it adorable how I can't line two characters? I guess this might piss off Sebastian, but worse things happen, you know. Those two characters come form the same place Seto did, that to say Dork Stitch, but they originate from another anime - Kuroshitsuji, or Black Butler. Here we see Black Butler in the bottom, and Red Reaper above! Ok, this wasn't very smart, but sleepy is sleepy!
Двамата други героя, които идват сега, са от същия блог, но от друго аниме - Курошитсуджи. Отгоре имаме Жътвар на души в червено, общо взето шматка, отдолу иконом в черно, който иначе е демон, който е сключил договор за душата на главния герой, но е общо взето от добрите, и побеждава лошите със сребърните прибори за хранене, като всичко това е включено в изключително заплетен и неправдоподобен сюжет.

And now I will show you a bunch of weird looking stitches, and I'll ask you to think of them of some sort of ugly duckling, if this could be a stitching methaphore. About a week ago I started the SK Storykeeper, but I started from the bottom page, because I figure it would be easier this way, with the rather large blocks of black. While stitching was indeed pleasent and easy, espacially with a dubbed movie, I have to say, this bottom page isn't very motivational. Even after it is finished, it won't make you go " Wow, what a beauty!" or " Now the whole piece makes sence!". But keep thinking of the duckling and that there are two more pages to come! Ok, so here is the present and the future (I hope) of my SK: With that, all that's left is to wish you a nice weekend!

И накрая на този пост искам да ви покажа нещо, което засега общо взето не прилича на нищо. Ще ви помоля да мислите за него като за крафтърски еквивалент на грозното патенце, защото горе виждате в какво трябва да се превърне (да се надяваме). Почнах го преди около седмица от най-долната страница, защото там има много черно, и е общо взето по-лесно да се работи. Това си е така, но самата страница трудно може да се нарече мотивираща. От цялата картинка тя стига горе-долу до глезена на крака на момичето. Така че даже и цялата да е завършена, не предизвиква бурни изблици на възвишени чувства. Но, мислете за патенцето.
Сега, май единственото, което остана да ви пожелая, е приятен уикенд :)

IHSW finally and some giveaways you may want to check

i really shoud give up on planning what and where I'm going to post next, because I can't remember at all when I last got it right.
So anyway, here are some IHSW results! First we have TOS. I finished the last part I was working on. I sent a mail asking for a new pass for the tree, thinking I'm totally out of downloaded parts, but later I found a few more I downloaded. I will still need the new pass, but at least for now I still have what to work :)
Second comes my first update on Steam Punk! Too bad I coudn get a better light for the photo. Anyway, this last week I've been mainly frogging rather than stitching. Massive frog attack on the Fairym and on the Tree too.
And last but not least comes the Great Escape. The first part consist of Montenegrin Stitch. I think I did it all right. Colours again are not at their best. Fabric is light pink, and the thread is dark pink-purple colour

Май ще е най-добре да спра да опитвам да предвидя какво и кога ще поствам, защото досега и веднъж не съм улучила. Сигурно имам дарба за метеоролог, сбъркала съм попрището.
Както и да е, най-накрая, ето резултати от IHSW!
Най-напред е Дървото, с две нови части добавени. Имам още няколко клончета запас, но после ще трябва да помоля за паролата за следващите
Следва Стийм Пънк феята с нейния първи уип! Жалко, че не можах да докарам по-добра светлина. Всъщност по-голямата част от миналата седмица беше посветена на изкарване на бодове, отколкото на поставянето на нови. Почти двеста бройки си отидоха в небитието, и все пак засега феята е с около 800 бода. Но не е като да си личи.
И накрая, но не и по важност, идва новият САЛ наStitch Specialists - Совата! На всеки две седмици ще излиза нова част, докато се оформи пълната картинка. С тази първа част се започват гърдите на пилето. Цветовете отново не са в пълния си блясък, платът е светло розов, конецът тъмно розов с лилав намек, който ми иде да кръстя "сладко от сливи", макар че съм наясно, че ако ида в кухнята да сверя, няма да имат общо. Може би сладко от сливи забъркано с конфитюр от ягоди, с малко сметана да омекоти и цвета, и може и да го докараме. Но аз си ги предпочитам отделно, за сметка на това придружени от палачинка.
