One sixth!

Passed the last exam of the session yesterday (it was Physics) ! First year of the education done, and so you can say now Im one sixth a doctor, lol!

Hi there lucky people crafting everyday!

This post is going to be as craftless as the last days have been for me, instead I'm going to fill it with rather pointless chatter. Well the main idea for me posting today is to boast about the fact that I succeed my exam of Cytology, Histology and Embriology today, and honestly surprising for myself, with an excelent grade! So I wanted to thank for all the positive brain waves that some of you sent my way. In order to show you my deep gratitude, I want to share with you my most favourite cell:

В този пост няма да мога да ви покажа нищо изработено, просто защото последните дни не ми позволиха да изработя нещо, което да бъде показвано. Всъщност главната цел на поста е безсрамно да се похваля, че днес си взех изпита по цитология, хистология и ембриология, и то, изненадващо и за мен, с шестица :) А също така и да благодаря за положителните вълнички, плаващи в моя посока, които някои от вас пратиха. И като благодаря, ще споделя с вас най-любимата си клетка.

Right on the point : Phew! My exams are finally over and now I can go back to everything I've been denying myself those last months because of the studying! I have piles of books to read, movies to watch, and craft to do, lol ^___^
For now I have the results of the biology exams, and one of the chemistry. For the first university (Sofia) I have 5.50, and for the second (Varna) again 5.50. In the third one, in Pleven, I have 4.68 biology and 4.75 chemistry - oh my, I couldn't believe I have higher note on the chemisty - I thought I totally failed on this. Now I'm waiting for the rest of the results. Although 5.50 of 6.00 isn't a bad result for the biology, everything depends on the chemistry now. Well, I'll wait and see I guess.
I can go on with this theme, but I guess you're already sick of me talking only about it. One last thing - thanks to everyone, who wished me luck! (big virtual hug!)

Finally with some free time, I wasn't sure what to start with, but in the end I decided to begin with a big project. I wanted to try to stitch something bigger, and frame it. Good, but it took me some time, to chose which project exactly! I had several on wait, but in the end I picked the Japanese Spring kit I showed you in the last post. (one of the reasons for it was that it's a full kit, and I have to buy floss for the other ones)
So I started it today! :D
It's 12 squares on 9 and every square is 20x20 stitches, but it's needlepoint so it should be faster that full stitches. I usually prefer the full stitches and the aida, but almost all full kits in Bulgaria are for needlepoint (that's why I usually buy the materials separately)
But I started it today and it's so pleasent to work on it ^___^ Lol, and since it has more stitches, now I can make myslef one of those stitch counters I've seen on the blogs, yay!

Other thing I must do is clean my room >.< Put everything in order. I have to think were to put all the bio& chemistry stuff.
After the exams in the end of 7th grade for entering a high school, this is what I did with the essays I wrote through the year:
Hooray for papier-mâché! Dad has been keeping it in Varna, for five years the paint has fained a little, but I think it still looks good! ;P I wanted to do the same, but my parents told me to wait a little, lol! XD

Well, I wanted to say some other things, but as usually, have forgotten them. I guess they weren't that important anyway. Have nice summer days everyone ^___^

Matura/bac results are out

I'm still not sure how to properly call those exams in English, but I guess you're getting what it is about.
The maximum is 6.00
and I have 5.75 on Bulgarian language and litterature
and 5.89 on French
I thought the Bulgarin note would be higher, lol

The first ones are done with but the worst part is yet to come. It'll be much much harder XP
I gave myself today as a free day because 1st of June is Children Day yet I didn't get to have a baloon T___T

Also I was literally forced to make myself facebook account, because all of my classmates are mean and couldn't find time to send me photos from the prom. This site is total mess, at least it seems so to me now. I don't get how half of the things should be done, including how to get proper link to my profile. At least I got how to search with the email address. If someone dares to find me there too, my email is ninniv@abv.bg. Well you can use the email for other things too (like spying kukuku }:D)
In any case if I ever make myself farm there, feel free to shoot me, knife me, hit me with various object or use any way of violence that suits you.
For now I'll just go and steal some more photos, for this is the only reason I joined, and then will go to sleep, because the studying continues tomorrow.

Pink ball dress!!!

The prom was so awesome!!!
I loved my dress, and hair, and friends, and teachers, and even the music was good - it was various so I could dance too :D Lol, can I have one next year again? I guess not... It was raining all day but fortunately it stopped for the meeting at school at 7. Still couldn't make many good outside pictures but at least no hair/dress damage :D Instead we had to make mostly indoor shoots
My whole class was so pretty!!! Honest - I'm not partial - we were the prettiest class
I really had so much fun - too bad all people were gone at 2 am and the party was over - so early! Most of them went to disco, but knowing the discos in the resort we were - not suiting my music tastes. Too bad I didn't have someone to dance with, because the best songs are for dancing in couples. There were also nominations and games - and I have no idea why - a girl who juggled with plates and other thing, lol . Lots and lots of fun XD
The only thing that wasn't good were the hotel rooms - they were sooo cold brrr :( I'm a warm loving creature, but even the boys said later that it was just way too cold! I almost didn't sleep because of this, and now my nose is raining *shif*
That's why I came back home earlier today and had a nice, long and warm sleep.
But I still wanna have a ball again.
But right now I better go and have something for my throat

Promotion

Yesterday was our "pomotion" in school and this brought lot of emotions. Noone really told us what exactly we're supposed to do in school, so the whole batch of graduates was just walking where we were pointed to, counting to 12 and sreaming :) This part I'd remember mostly with the fact that I was randomly picked by a reprter who wanted me to translate some phrase (at least she said that I got the fastest reaction of all people she tried) and that the heel of my show got stuck between the stone plates exactly when walking pass the school flag, in front of all the other students of teh school, rested planted there and I had to run back with my foot bare to pick my shoe.
Apart from the promotion, one friend had a birth-day, and another classmate - name-day yesterday, so there was a lot of celebration. Out tutor teacher loved the gifts the class gave her, and announced that we are the best class ever. And she is, with absolutely no place for discussion, the best-est theacher ever, in the whole wide world!!!

There was a school concert after, something we weren't expecting. It was obvious the performance was made in hurry, but we appreciated the effort of everyone who took part, so it was ok.
But the most emotional part was when only our class gathered together to go to restaurant. Everything was so personal and touching; everybody was having fun, but in the very same time we were really sad, and when Mme Hristakeva had to go, the emotion just burst out. I was expecting myslef to cry that much, but I couldn't help myslef after all the kind things she said and I was just standing there crying like total idiot. But actually everyone did so, all the girls, we were crying and hugging eachother. We will miss her incredibly much; she's not only a great professional as a teacher, but also one of the most strong, kind and awesome people I know, for those 5 years she was constantly looking after us and guiding us.

Tatty progress and omg I got smth kinda like a feature

First the Tatty progress :
Just let me say those flowers are hell to make. Other than this, it was very pleasent to stitch. I'm not using Aida, because this fabric (linen? no? i don't know) it's easier to work with especially with backstitching and stuff. And it's exactly the back stitch that is left. There were supposed to be white French knots for the flowers, but when I read "52 white french knots" I just went to get beads.
Photo is low quality, because I made it with a phone in rather dark room. But it's a miracle enough that I was able to connect it to the PC.

Second! Remember the lead duck I turned into a pin cushion not so long ago? And I showed you the blog I saw the idea from. Well I wrote a message saying thanks and all this kind of stuff ^^ And the she got me featured, wow! That was unexpected! Lol, so you know what that means? That the letter I wrote was understandable!!! You know, I haven't tried to write in Russian since I got in High School, and well my skills have gotten quite rusty!

Talking about high school, my second bac was today - French. Surprisingly it was worse than the Bulgarian and litterature one. The texts for comprehension (total of 5 - 3 listening& 2 reading) were quite easy, and the quality of sound for the oral was very good. Rather B1 or easier. The grammar was not so like it. They were emphasizing on stupid things. And I'll probably have mistakes on the gender of the words, and I hate myself for this. The writing part I didn't like neither. We were to write either a letter to our little pen friend or tell our opinion about the school uniforms. And this, in 160-170 words! O.o wtf? In 8th grade, it was 150 words. Now our usual limit in school is about 280-300, and damn it, the themes on the essays have a little more sense! My most favourite theme was Marchand de rêves (Dream seller), but well, everything would be better than "You wanna uniform?" Unless maybe "Describe me your best friend!" It was surprisingly hard to drop the level on both style of writing and number of words. I tried my best, and cut, and cut, but couldn't make it under 200. I hope I won't lose too much points of this!
Nevertheless, I'm happy it's over. Even though my teacher phoned to say tomorrow I have to show up for a lesson. So I better go study now. But have a songie ^^

Nothing too exciting about it. But while on the same shelf, I decided to took another photo:

I'm awfully sleepy right now, so I don't feel luck saying much *yawn* Today was my first bac - of litterature. I couldn't sleep at all the night, and when I came back, it was way too warm so I couldn't have a good rest either. As for the exam itself, I think I did it rather well. I wasn't hoping for the theme that was chosen, but didn't mind it either. But we started working at 8.40 instead of 8.00 (it took them that much time to copy and give away all the stuff) and the waiting without knowing really killed me >.<
The second bac is on Monday. With this, the "end of high school" exams will be over and the only left will be the university exams in the beginning of July.

Now, let's take it one by one, shall we?
First of all, Kttycat has a giveaway on her blog for her 100th post, which includes a stunning bead angel, and a kool cat that's well, cool, and other awesome stuff! Well I'm not sure if there's use for me to announce it on my blog, sinceal most all of my followers follow her blog too, and I suspect that all of my 3 views per day are generously donated by them. But anyway, spreading the word is a good thing, so here we go!

Now, I plan to continue being Captain Obvious *evil grin ]:D * and tell another discovery (that you might be not interested in!) I recently got my hands on a How to make origami boxes book (and now I'm totally in love, will show some results in next post). Anyway I went searching the net for fancy papers to make my pretty boxes, in sites for scrapbooking and such. Previously, when I was searching for paper for my cards, I hardly found any good ones. It goes without saying, that I was looking for freebies.

Er... well, it's not like I'll join the Evil Forces if they come with a poster "Come to the dark side, we have freebies"
So where was I...
This time, I hit the jacpot with The Blog Train Blog that has over 100 designers making themed free scrapbooking kits every other month; and Lori's freebie list where freebies are gathered daily. Hitting the international srapbooking day also helped in my search I guess!
Now again, this info might be totally useless (or already well known) but, first, I got so excited when I found it that I wanted to share, and second, I got the sudden urge to post those owls.

And a final word - ohmigawd, I finished high school O.o I can't believe yet that there will be no more classes and I'll never ever enter that school as a student again. We'll go again on 12th to have the pernissions to go to the matura, the first exam is on 14th, second on 17th. Then the concert for our school leaving will be on 21st, and the prom on 24th... And university exams in the beginning of July...
Nyaah, it seems so weird... I can't believe I spent 5 years already - they passed so fast!...

But the cake isn't dome yet :(

I wanted to say " I have a birthday, come and have some cake" but I haven't stitched the SODA cake part fully yet

Lol, it's so tiny it wouldn't be enough anyway! The mini-tiny-puny sweet SAL started yesterday, but I had so many things to do and so little tile to stitch and today when I have some time, I'm so tires, I just can't go on, nyaa... So better have some of this:

My cake was more ordinary one, but still nice. Yesterday I went to bed at 2 am and had to get up at 6.30 for school, so I wasn't in particularly good mood in the morning, I just wanted to let me have quietly my milk, and then mom entered my room with a plush cow and a bottle of strawberry champagne, lol!

Then at school my friend got the most amazing present, it was so unexpected and they were hiding it all the time, it's AWESOME, and I love it

 

Then we went to a Chinese restaurant (like every year). And in few words everything was great, but now I'm so tired *yawn*

So let's close things with the "19 years-old" song, I really love it, as well as the anime, well, we'll see about the lyrics ^^

Presenting the presents

                                                         Ok, the title isn't very bright.

In school we drew lots to exchange Christmas presents and we gave it to eachother today. Phew, it was hard choosing it! Due to weather/sickness/work I couldn't buy it until this Sunday. On that day I asked my sister, who was about to go choosing her presents for school, to buy mine too. I asked her to buy one pink poodle (yup, the girl I got to give present too, kinda likes things like this, or so I was told).

But there weren't poodles left in that shop.

So she bought a camel.

Because it was curly like a poodle. 

I don't deny that the camel is cute, but it's not exactly the thing you would give to a person, who'd like a pink curly poodle!

So I went hunting myself. That's what I got her in the end. No poodles indeed, but still:

The candle and the soap (that in the little bag is soap) smell so AWESOME, I wanted to eat them! Just for one night they spent in my room, she smelled like chocolate and vanilla. I got them from Refan, a shop, that really encourages eating candles and soaps with those gorgeous smells. (I have to confess that all the time I was hoping that the person who had to give me a present, would buy me something from there... Nyaah, she didn't, so I decided to treat myself with a cocoa soap bar ^////^)

We ( a group of girls in school) usually give eachother small presents too. We didn't talk it this year but this is what I bought for them.

I have to say I'm very pleased with how it turned out! I got the holiday print patterns form I russian site, Ilovehandmade.ru, that is always feeding me with craft ideas and supplies.

I really love those snow balls! So you can imagine how happy I was when I received one too. Here are the presents I got:

Aand, as an excuse for the crappy photos, I want to say, that I don't have a light bulb in my room for a week or so now (and I hope tomorrow an electrician will finally come, else I will have a very dark Christmas) and I'm using old and crappy (not to mention ugly) desk lamp.

So Christmas is just around the corner, and I have only one day school till the vacation! For now I wish you merry preparations, if you like me, aren't done yet!

Cats are so last year

What have cats to do with pumpkins anyway? You can ask anyone, snails are much more acquainted with all the pumpkin and garden matters. This shail here is still a slug tho. I'm working on finishing his home. I fell in love with the pattern (from Cyber Stitchers) and dispite all the other work to do, Mr Halloween Snail get the place of the Giraffe in my wip list. Ha, Halloween's not celebrated here anyway. But this is cute and because of it I got the urge to watch Sleepy Hollow again. Damn, this movie is sooo good. I tend to speak too much about Tim Burton lately, but this is a masterpiece of his. And young Johnny Depp is way too sexy, even when he looks like he's about to faint.
The cross-stitching part seems to end here.
Unfortunatelly for my sister cats don't seem to be last year, because she bought again cat notebooks like every year. I'm not neither cat lover nor much of a hater, but I dislike those notebooks with some weird kittens that are like "The little voices in my head are telling me to..." Last 2 days we've been doing lot of school shopping - mainly notebooks for her and manuals for me cause she's gettin hers for free from school and I have notebooks from last year. I kinda miss the buying of new notebooks. For me this always has been the most exciting part of the beggining of the school years so I tried to enjoy to fullest when we choosed hers. The fact that I have to carry the heavy bag the way home kinda killed the joy...
Those cats are freaking weird, I'm telling ya. Those aren't real, authentic (go Terry!) cats. The real thing are the ones like Gribo, like the cat from Coraline and of course the Schrödinger's cat.
Nyaa I really love those ones! I told her not to put the labels before I made the photo, but she did it anyway. I btw plan to use the labels from here - > Cré-Enfantin This place is just super-cute-awesome-gorgeous-add-every-other-superlative-here ^____^ Too bad I didn't find it earlier in the summer!
And here I some of my old notebooks. Some of them are nearly half empty so I decided to continue writing in them. It's even better this way, because with most subjects we'll just start form where we dropped it in the end of the year. Ha, I'm posting it because they will hardly go through one more year. Then I'll came here, and sighing will remember how cute they were.

The manuals aren't interesting att all, so will just count them as presenting. My Maths are pink, and the history is in the most disgusting orange colour I've seen. But the bookies are more important anyways ^____^ Couldn't resist them! Douglas Adams' Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and Terry Prattchet's Going Postal. I'm happy.

Tch, it seems I lied up there... I forgot about this

Lol I loove it :D The idea is form an avatar and one afternoon I just sat and made it while waiting for mom to finish her job. It's about 2.5x2.5cm and packed as a badge. I plan to sew a safety pin on the back. If this esperiment succeeds, I plan to make a bunch of cross-stitch badges ^^
