Olá! Bem-vindos!
Hello! Welcome! This place where I am is called River Beach of the Eyes of Fervents. This post is about eyes and seeing things. That's why I think the name of this place couldn't be better chosen. What I'm going to tell you has never been told to anyone before. It's the story of a pair of glasses. Not just any glasses, but very special ones, because they allow you to see what no one else can see. They have red frames and, although I didn't need glasses to see at the time, they have superpowers. They were bought to be worn on one of the most important days in my country's recent history, 25th April, Freedom Day!
In this photo, I would have been around 36-37 years old, I'm not sure exactly. It was a phase in my life - and the only one - when I wore my hair short. I liked it, but I wouldn't do it again. I'm straying from the topic of this post, which is these glasses and not my hair, so let's get down to business, which is the story of these red glasses!
To tell you the story of these glasses, I have to mention a 15th-century Portuguese painting. It is on display at the Museum of Ancient Art in Lisbon. It is a treasure of Portuguese painting, consisting of six panels depicting various strata of society at the time, from the clergy to the royal family and knights.

COMEMORAÇÃO DO DIA DO PAI
Olá! Bem-vindos!
FATHER'S DAY CELEBRATION
Hello! Welcome! This week, on Thursday to be precise, Portugal celebrates Father's Day. So, I decided to write a short story about a conversation between two fathers. To understand the context of this short story, I have to take a trip back in time, as this story was written a few years ago. It is a very entertaining social and political critique!
A few years ago, I applied for a job at a local council through a public competition. In Portugal, these types of competitions are a complete joke, because what they really want is to employ friends and family members of local councillors.
The mayor's daughter also applied for this competition, and of course she was the one who was selected! Later, I also learned that the vice-mayor's daughter was also selected in a tailor-made competition, which was fraudulent! In fact, the daughters were exempted from doing an internship and were immediately hired as permanent staff.
So, this short story is about a conversation between the Mayor and his Vice Mayor. In this conversation, they decide on the details of hiring their daughters. It is, of course, a satirical conversation, in which I ridicule local politicians.
EU É QUE SOU O PRESIDENTE
I AM THE PRESIDENT
THE END
That's how those in positions of power in Portugal decide! I hope you enjoyed this Father's Day short story about how they do everything to spoil their children! This story was written to be published in a newspaper on Father's Day, but it never saw the light of day, until today!

As the soundtrack for this post, I chose the song by Depeche Mode: ‘Everything Counts’, which I think needs no explanation, just listen to it.

Olá! Bem-vindos, meus caros amigos e leitores!
Hello! Welcome, my dear friends and readers! I think I have something more to say about recent discoveries in the field of quantum physics. Our view of our lives and the universe is being completely called into question. As I said in another post, the variable time may not be linear, that is, time may have three dimensions: past, present and future. This new conception of time opens up a whole world of new possibilities that science had never considered until now. One of these possibilities is time travel! This is no small thing, it is simply AMAZING!!!
Of course, this isn't going to happen right away! We need to study hard and conduct many experiments before we get to that point. But I'm already imagining these travels through time here in my room, where I reflect on these topics. I'm already imagining a trip to Ancient Egypt! That trip would be made by teleportation. If you've seen the TV series Space: 1999, you'll remember that teleportation was possible, and this is what quantum physics makes possible. It's just FANTASTIC!!!
But we must also consider that whoever has this time machine will have great power in their hands. And, if I know human nature well, this machine could be used for evil, so I think it is better for us to remain ignorant of the possibilities of the Time variable!
I love these topics and talking to you about them so that you know that these possibilities are being studied and where science is heading. Now, I ask you, what do you think about the possibility of travelling in a time machine? Tell me everything in the comments!
Convido-vos a ver e ouvir o video!
As the soundtrack for this post, I chose Pink Floyd's song ‘Time,’ whose lyrics are nothing more than a description of our lives, one day after another, that is, with the Time variable being linear! With the possibility of time travel, the lyrics of this song no longer make sense! I invite you to watch and listen to the video!

Seja qual for o motivo, agradeço a leitura e a audiência!
Welcome, my dear friends and readers. Today I'm going to talk about love. Love for this blog, of course! It's funny to realize how some people who have more “important” things to do still find time to visit my blog. Is it to laugh at my content, criticize my ideas, or perhaps use them as their own? After all, why would someone who considers themselves above what I produce spend their precious time here? Whatever the reason, thank you for reading it!
I know that my blog has already been read by national MPs and even ministers! Oh yes, no wonder! I can only thank these readers for their attention! And to imagine that an idea of mine written here could have reached a really busy and influential mind, is inspiring to say the least!
And then there are those readers who, despite compulsively reading this blog, never admit it! If I had any doubts, I found a way to be sure, believe me! The irony is delicious. The blog that many disdain is the one they can't ignore, perhaps they're uncomfortable, not by what I write, but by the fact that I'm still writing. Criticising is easier than accepting that I'm occupying a space they might envy! What I mean is that I've been tried to be silenced several times! But my greatest reward is knowing that I bother... with the truth! A lot!
So I'm going to address each and every one of you, my dear readers, whether you're a politician, a silent admirer, or a critic disguised as a casual reader, know that I'm grateful for your presence. Every view, every word read, every thought provoked by what I write, all this work done by an ‘unoccupied’ person is reaching a level I never imagined possible!
In conclusion, whether you laugh, sneer, copy or are inspired, the fact remains that you are here. And that says a lot more about me than it does about you!!! Love u💖
