The Haul Report 435

 Time for another report of the additions to the collection, and we begin with a real "swag box".

 

These boxes where included in the 50 euro ticket for Warhammer Underworlds's Grand Clash in Maastricht, and contain some goodies.

 

Now honestly, I'm keeping of course the voucher, as well as the d6, but all the rest will be tossed on my trade pile...

 

But that is not all that I got, as I finally got the hard copy of Frostgrave 2nd edition.  Nice and cheap on Bol, it was herereally swift after ordering.

 

More Frostgrave material arrived with this blister of Giant Frogs from the DnD range, found cheaply on Vinted. 

 

As well as some more cheap figures from the WizKids ranges for making the Random Encouter table a reality. 

 

And we got some more Efteling pins for our ever-expanding collection as well. 

 

Now, all that loot of course requires strengthening of the inner person, so we're a happy camper that our Frontaal subscription box arrived again.

 

So there we have it, a nice pile of stuff once again for the collection, check back in a few weeks for more goodies!

The Haul Report 434

 Time for another update on which loot I gathered the past few weeks, so let's get into it!

 

And we start with a little thing I picked up for 8 euro incl shipping for the Warfleets day we are running at the club the 10th of May

 

This Eaglemoss Malon freighter will be a "derelict" objective in one of the 5 custom scenario's I wrote for the day. 

  

I also picked up a second vessel to this purpose in about the same price range, and for the same purpose, with this xxx , as well as the ECS Horizon freighter from Enterprise.

 

From the Benelux Clash IV, where I took "the day off" for once to have a relaxing day of games, I hauled the participant price of alt cards and tokens. 

 

Probably Illegal is labelled as one of the most backstabbing cardgames when it launched it's Kickstarter, and I backed it together with the XXX version extra deck.  Because, I am like that...

 

And I got some actual wargame figures this time round as well, as I had Galadriel, Celeborn and the Mirror find it's way to my doorstep after finding them on Vinted.  Which reminds me I really need to begin painting at my Lothlorien army soon to have it ready for october... 

  

We picked up fresh pin in Bobbejaanland as well from our recent visit, this time opting for one of the Bob Express. 

 

So a nice set of goodies once more this time round, on to the next one! 

 

The Haul Report 433

 Time for some more swag, and we had the first Underworlds tournament, and Golden Ticket qualifier, on the 8th of march.

 

And first of all, I won that Golden Ticket, so off to Barcelona it'll be - the hotel is already booked as I write this and my entry confirmed by Games Workshop!

 

But we also got some nice warscroll sized sleeves, that is handy stuff!

 

Apart from that, I bought a Wrack from Johan, and he brought along my Manifestations that I bought with coupon from the Halle event past december.

 

And then there was the loot for winning the actual tournament as well! 

 

One thing that wasn't Warhammer though, is that the costume I'll be wearing on an Angels and Demons party in two weeks arrived, and which will form the basis of the character I am going to build: a priest that is going to convert all those bare-chested women with holy water (aka, tequilla). 

 

So that is a pretty awesome stack of aelven and Underworlds stuff for moi, and a nice set for the pile to boot.  Until the next one, which will be post Benelux Clash 4!

 

Though I don't expect to grab yet another Embergard trophy there at all... 

The Haul Report 432: it's Warhammer Underworlds price support time!

 Welcome to another episode of the Haul Report, and this time it is almost all about Warhammer Underworlds.

 

Because I have been buying up lot's of stuff from members of our local flemish community, in order to fil up my pool for future Into the Under-Ekeren tournaments.

 

The first haul came from Billie, who still had a heap of sealed dice sets and sleeve packs lying around, as well as a Champions of Dreadfane boxed set.  I love those dice and sleeves, they are great prices for the Paticipation Raffle and Least Glory Points categories I tend to include in my tournaments.

 

Then from Vincent, amongst other stuff, I got some more warbands for the price support pool.

 

 

 

 

And then the Vinted hauls started to come in, with more sets of dice, figures and sleeves alike!  I also obtained a box of Kamandora for the pool, which came with the spanish version of Reckless Fury, so that one will go back onto Vinted though... and recuperate some of the price of the bought support. 

 

Of course, I also treated myself to some thingies for Underworlds, like first of all Ylthari's Guardians, the one aelven band i still missed for some reason (well, the reason that I never bought them before) and I also bought from Vincent above.

 

As well as the new Nexus of Power deck that came from StartSpeler. 

 

So, that is a lot of goodies for the piles! 

The Haul Report 431

 Time for another overview of obtained stuff in the past period, and some fun things have been rolling in once more.

 

Starting out with some reading goodies!

 

My latest "MyBox" from Archonia came in, bringing the most recent two volumes of the excellent Blue Period manga.

 

I also grabbed some Battle Beasts for the cheap, one even with his weapon still, which is quite rare to find these days, especially this side of the ocean.  Love the crab fella though! 

 

Temu brought in some good stuff for my shelves, with these two acryll display stands.  Dead cheap, and way better quality then I actually expected it to be. 

 

The Efteling pin collection also was expanded, as the new 2026 Logo pin was added to the collection. 

 

And that was another nice set of goodies for the various collections, now it's time to focus back on miniatures, and more specifically a heap of price support for Warhammer events I will be picking up the coming week.  

 

So check back for certain next episode for a LOT of goodies that will be up for joining events in the coming, well, years, because it IS a serious stack... 

The Haul Report 430: more Efteling pins!

 Let's kick it off with some nice stuff for my Efteling collection: more pins!

 

Because every year, they release a year pin, and this time it's the frog king.

 

I also got this series of three, which was out of stock when we where there last summer, so that is another nice addition to the collection. 

 

And sometimes, you can find some very nice stuff for a good price on Vinted... I paid 10 euro for these 3 Micromaster Transformers, including the one I really wanted for this year, Tote (the red van).  The plane, Hot House, is from one of the playsets, missing his wing decals, but it will help in chasing down the playset alone and save serious money.

 

Some other finds through Vinted is the LaserRAT I wanted to replace, and it came with the figure (sadly minus visor) of the... M6 Railgunner.

 

So what else to do... then pick up a Railgunner from Vinted as well, one of the vehicles I missed anyways back in the days.  It misses one of the panels on the gunnery tower, but for 25 euro with working power deploy I'm not complaining.

 

It doesn't happen often anymore, but I actually found a very good condition vintage figure for my own personal collection at Kringwinkel, and it only knocked me back... 50 cents! 

 

Another toy came all the way from Las Vegas through eBay.  I was searching for the Playmates Star Trek Innerspace Ferengi Marauder, and this seller offered it together with the Cardassian Galor.  He gave a nice discount offer that would compensate for taxes and all, so I bit the bullet and had it shipped my way.  The Galor though probably will end up in my trade pile.

 

But that is not all, as even more toys found their way to my collection this period, with this Wraptile mini playset from the Mighty Max toyline. 

 

Of course, I also did some wargame shopping, as the Commerative Figure that came out the last day of january was a Dawi'Zharr, so I immediatly went there to get it by buying my SH tournament price support. 

 

My Secret Santa, due to circumstances called Lucie and Celeste, Thorin's freshborne nieces, arrived a bit later understandably, but this will be a nice addition to the army collection. 

 

So that was a very solid haul to start the year with in the first weeks, and hopefully many more cool thingies will be coming soon! 

The Haul Report 429: about that new years resolution...

 "I'm not buying figures this year unless I will actually play the game during 2026!"

 

How good of a new years resolution is that!

 

Well, it lasted until... the 1st of january at 20.00 hrs, when I received the mail from Fantasy Welt with their new year sales, and went in to see if anything intresting was about.

 

I also ordered the Blood Bowl new edition rulebook, which I had held off until I was certain it didn't rested under the Chirstmas tree. 

 

 

As the resolution mentioned above was done for anyways, I did some shopping on Vinted, and found a Mindstealer Sphiranx.  Because another game, why not, maybe I get that RoR completed this year. 

 

So, the year kicked off good, though in the meantime I have been hit with a bit of paintblock, so wargame shopping will slip a bit to the back as a result.  Guess I'll be working on some other collections mostly this year.

The Haul Report 428: a time to be merry

 Time for another Haul Report, and this time we are having a look at the gifts that where received over the holiday period.

 

Because the season of giving was upon us, and I managed to obtain some nice additions to the collections.

 

But let's start it off with a little christmas present to myself hehehe, because -20% is always a good thing...

 

It has been a very good gifting season though, starting out with the House of Repelsteeltje for my Efteling display, complete with lights and everything

 

The mancave will get some new decoration as well, as my "Displate cherry" has been popped, after all, every geek needs to have one of these in his personal space after all.

 

I also got some nice equipment for personal care, with the Lawnmower from Manscaped.

 

As well as the Raging Slayers deck I still lacked in my collection of Underworlds decks. 

 

A trip to the first edition Bobbejaanland Wintert brought back a pin of one of the most legendary attractions there, El Paso Special! 

 

And the family suprised me with some more Efteling sets for the collection, thanks everyone! 

 

So that was a lovely christmas period for sure, and my collections smile happily at the expansions, many thanks everyone! 

 

 

The Haul Report 427

 The last one before the holiday loot comes to town, so let's have a look at what stuff I obtained in this last month.

 

And it has been a nice little stack once again... 

 

Let's start with a price figure, my victory from Mines of Alost 2 yielded this guy, and they finally arrived. 

 

Of course, it was Black Friday, and I took advantage of a very good deal with De Spelvogel, grabbing these three boxes for a massive 85 euro discount and free shipping on top... 

 

Participating and ending third in the final Underworlds tournament this year yielded a WarCry token sheet, a coupon from the sponsor store (already ordered my set) and a 3d printed naked zombie lady.

 

As well as this fantastic T-shirt as the community, unknown to me, had voted me Best Underworlds Player in Belgium for the year. 

 

Through Vinted I found this missing novel for my Underworlds series, so that's some good reading ahead the coming time.

 

Noshi's collegue once again brought back the new seasonal pins from Efteling, so I won't miss out on them anymore.  And the big one is really, really big! 

 

From Vinted, I also found one of the older 't Smidje pins to help further complete the series.

 

As the Helsmiths of Hashut collectible coin came out this month, I of course needed to have that one for my collection, so a trip to the Warhammer store made me pick up my Idoneth book at last, as well as some more Razors. 

 

A trip to Baillien, the local hobby supplies store, brought me back some highly needed essentials, as my final 0 size brush was on it's last, and my varnish down to it's final quarter of the bottle.

 

And a boardgame also arrived, Vice, created by Belgian ex-porn producer Dennis Black Magic.  It comes with an adult version, so that will be some intresting game nights...

  

Rounding out this Haul, is a beerbox from my Frontaal subscription, so I won't go into the holidays dry-mouthed hehehe...
