Swedish comic 91:an, issue 1 2026. Love the cover, which is appropriate for New Year´s Eve. This is the last post for 2025, it has been an interesting year in many ways. I wish you all a Happy New Year and I truly hope that we have a good (and above all) peaceful year ahead.

Over 90,000,000 views, and this is not counting the live videos that has been added as well. I would say that things are looking pretty good. I guess they could release the first video for the next album at any moment now, even if it is quite far off. We shall see.

Wargasm has released a Limited Edition (500 copies) double album called “Live In London”. Always good fun to own a rare Vinyl. I saw them open for Babymetal a while back and they were not bad.

Sally will celebrate the first anniversary of her solo release “Burn It” with an appearance at the Shibuya Cyclone in Tokyo on March 20. Some well known faces will support her on the night, like drummer Mari from Mary´s Blood and guitarist Ayumi from Bridear (among others). Maybe new music is on the horizon, we shall see.
NATSUMI
Bridear drummer Natsumi has declared that she will be leaving the band after the current batch of concerts in Japan. Bridear will continue with a new drummer, as yet not announced.
SAYAKA
And Hagane bass player Sayaka has solo appearances coming up at Club Euclid Portal in Japan (not sure which city this is in) on March 14, with her playing and answering questions.
Redeye (Rödöga in Sweden) was a popular comic by Gordon Bess that was published between 1967 and 1988. It has survived for far longer than that in Sweden, since it has been a staple in our Beetle Bailey comic over the years. Several albums and pocket books has also seen print. Seen here is an album from 1986. Crazy fun.
Got a hip flask with a nice Deep Purple logo as a Christmas gift, which is nice. Looks official to me. Now on display with an older “Come Taste The band” mug. Cool.
Magazines with historical content are very popular in Sweden. Here is a current publication that deals with the war machine of the Roman Empire. Job well done. Published by a science oriented magazine called Illustrerad Vetenskap that has been around since 1984.
And finally, one more Swedish Conan comic, issue 4 1997. I really think they did a good job with these comics over here. I still own a bunch of them and I am glad that I do.
