Digimon Story: Time Stranger[edit]
A Zubaeagermon stole T-shirts in Shinjuku during the "Mystery of the Missing T-Shirt" side mission. It was pursued by Sagisaka Hiroko and Yuki Dan/Yuki Kanan. After they found it, it asked them how to make the T-shirts it took the "Twentiest", though it couldn't explain what that meant. After the Agent joked about it, Zubaeagermon got mad at them and attacked them. After being defeated, Hiroko was left with the mystery of what "Twentiest" means. As the boss of the sidequest, Zubaeagermon attacks exclusively with Vingtième.
Zubaeagermon meets the Agent again eight years later in a backalley in Shinjuku, still eager to learn what being the "Twentiest" meant. This time, it took the Agent's joke kindly. It felt "normal" and "out", though its meaning of those words was unusual as it thought the Agent was normal. The Agent's words helped it get closer to the meaning of "Twentiest", though to get even closer, it asked the Agent to wear a T-shirt with a Digimon on it, which they did as the side mission "The Easy Road Is Best". Said outfit was "Twentiest" for Zubaeagermon, leading it to call the Agent "Master Twentiest", because it made it realize that it was trying too hard which only got it farther away from being "Twentiest". The true "Twentiest" meant simple, unflashy fashion, just accesories. Having touched the truth of the "Twentiest" then causes Zubaeagermon to evolve into Duramon. However, it'd soon go back to Zubaeagermon in the High-Rise Colosseum after finding itself underwhelmed by normalcy and pursuing flashiness instead, which caused it to rediscover the meaning of the "Twentiest" and evolve into Grademon instead.
