I loved how the author explores as different thing with each story. In this one Evan is a wolf who hates being a wolf. I loved his and George’s relationship and all the wolf/pack politics.
I liked that George and Evan have history, and the part Evan’s pack played in that. I also liked the differences in their family/pack, and how George helps Evan work through his issues. He’s so much better off without his pack, and with the Outcast pack.
I enjoyed seeing the other members of the Outcast pack again, and their interactions. I also liked how this series takes place in the Coven world and the part the Coven plays in this story. ...more

I’m loving this series, and enjoyed Paris and Mac’s story. The world building with its mix of technology and supernatural is intriguing ad dangerous. The way the two forces are vying for control makes for a compelling read.
Paris is an interesting character with hidden depths, and he is put through the wringer in this story, with his father’s legacy only the beginning. I loved his and Mac’s connection and how Mac is slowly drawn out of himself to risk a relationship, and love, again. Paris’s new abilities are interesting. I loved the descriptions of his art.
I enjoyed catching up with Icarus and Adam from book 1, and Mary, Jason, and Kai. I loved Liam, Mac’s brother, and his family. And Robin and Atlas. Their story is going to be quite the ride.

I liked the insert into the acting world, and how these two both come with baggage from their pasts.
Poor Lee’s been through a lot. His dad has a lot to answer for, and it’s no wonder Lee’s shoved so much down instead of working through things. I liked how Eddie gets him out of himself. I liked that they’re both dealing with things, with Eddie’s grief over his mum, and Lee’s PTSD. These two are good together and for each other, despite trying to ignore their mutual attraction – once Lee figures things out.
I loved the complication of Lee’s best friend being Eddie’s dad. I thought Rupert’s reaction was realistic and loved the resolution of that side of the story. I also liked Cora.
The action/drama part of the plot is tense, and edge-of-seat. I loved Lee and Eddie’s HEA. ...more

I particularly like how Luke’s character is unfolding with a lot of twists and turns, especially the doozy at the end of this book. I can always rely on this author for a decent cliffhanger!
I love Asher and Luke’s relationship and the effect Asher’s presence has on Luke during the dark episodes. I also like their long term friendships, and the introduction of Asher’s sister in this story.
Seth is an arse. I loved the scenes with him and Weaver Anita. And that twist at the end of the book with Luke’s brother. Very clever, and I didn’t see it coming.
I’m looking forward to seeing how all of that pans out going forward. More please. ...more

I enjoyed learning more about Hector and his family through his perspective, and also Killian’s past. I liked the friendships too, and seeing Paris, Brett, and Helena again.
I liked how Killian is determined not to risk Hector’s life by having a relationship, while being convinced that love has nothing to do with Avianitis. The Nemedan’s secret and their true nature is brilliant. I loved how Hector is convinced that, although his siblings survived, his won’t because they are only half-siblings. I also loved how he finds his place in the world, and his ideas make a huge difference.
I liked the confrontations with the Southerners, and how each side has its own perspective. Very nicely done.
I’m looking forward to Orestes’ story. He deserves his own HEA. ...more

I love their relationship, and banter, and their protectiveness of each other and their large family. The plot had some twists, and isn’t a typical Christmas story though it does have a HEA.
I loved the world building, and how their family is made up of so many different people who all bring their strengths to the story, and solving the case. I liked that it wasn’t a straightforward one, and in fact turns out to be quite dangerous for Seb and and Ailin who have been solving crimes like this for decades.
I love how different their personalities are, and yet how well they fit together. Their Solstice celebration is a sweet, full-on, family affair. I hope this is the beginning of a new series....more

I thought this was a feel-good low angst sweet romance that I didn’t want to put down.
I love this author’s cozy cowboy books, and the set up with Cowboy Wanted, which includes a glimpse of Tom and Kody who run it. I like how each advert for a cowboy is for something different, and I loved that Austin is an author, with all the quirks that go with that. I particularly liked that Austin and Kyler talk things through, rather than lack of communication driving the plot.
The kids are realistic. I loved their friendship, and how different they are, and how Austin and Kyler are kind of co-parenting by comparing notes and helping each other out.
I loved that Paige’s mother is a great character, and the reason Paige is mostly living with Kyler a valid one. I loved how Henley is totally on board with Austin and Kyler’s relationship. She’s fun. ...more

I also enjoyed catching up with Wes’s brothers and Mason from book 1 again.
I like how different the Stormbreaker brothers are. Wes and Shane are well matched as opposites who see through the barriers each other have erected. Shane’s reasoning for distrusting cowboys is understandable, considering his past. I liked how that came out slowly, and when he’s finally able to trust Wes enough to share. I thought their romance was sweet, with both determined not to fall for the other and thinking any relationship will be short lived until the end of Wes’s assignment.
I loved the scenes on the ranch, and the horses.
I liked how the stalker threat escalated, and how I thought I’d guessed who it was, and then doubted myself because of all the red herrings. Nicely done! The scene where they confront the stalker is tense, and I was turning pages.
Wes and Shane’s HEA is sweet and well deserved. I need Levi’s HEA now, and Nick and Kieran need to get their HEA too. ...more

Scott and Hank’s story drew me in immediately and I wanted them to get together and have their HEA.
I love that Scott stress quilts. He’s such a great dad, and I loved Fallon too. I liked how different he and Hank are, and yet underneath they’re both struggling with similar things they need each other to point out. I thought Scott and Hank were sweet together with their non dates, and both not wanting another relationship.
I liked that this story was very much about family, especially siblings. I loved how that side of the story worked out all round.
I loved seeing characters from other books in the series, which is one of my favourite things about shared worlds.

I loved their romance, and the part that Brann’s family, and the quirky townspeople play. Fred and Wilma, the geese, are a fun addition to the story.
I liked how Brann isn’t as grumpy as he thinks he is, and has a sweet nature in how he looks after his geese, and offers Kenan a room. I loved how he has no idea who Kenan is, and that something that could have been blown into something bad is settled with honest conversation. Kenan is a sweetheart and calming influence. I liked the reason behind his addiction. His manager has a lot to answer for!
I loved Brann’s family. His sister, especially, is a force to be reckoned with. I loved Mr Blum and how he connects with Kenan and Brann.

Their situation is realistic, and I liked the effort it took both of them to make their marriage work, especially with the business and stressfulness of life around them.
I liked how they reconnected because of the storm, but didn’t lose sight that being alone for two days is nothing like dealing with the situations that led to their almost divorce in the first place. They’re both good men trying to do the right thing for their family and build a future, but trying to balance that, the mounting bills, and each other, is going to need work. I also liked that, despite their determination to be there for each other, it’s easier said than done.
The slice of life family scenes are wonderful, but their kids feel real, and I liked that they were worried their dads might divorce again, and reacted like children to difficult situations with tantrums and yelling.
I loved how supportive both Kirin and Flynn’s parents are, and their working together to help out is heartwarming and sweet. ...more

Azrael and Duke are both sweet, and I enjoyed the mix of romance and suspense, alongside of family and friends.
I liked how Duke’s past relationship is slowly revealed, and makes a lot of sense why he’s hesitant to risk being hurt or hurting someone else. I loved how gentle Azrael is – unless you’re a bad guy, the depth of his faith, and how their love for each other wins out.
I loved the part friends and family play in the story. Azrael’s family are a force to be reckoned with, and their matter-of-fact this is what family do is heart-warming. I loved Duke’s relationship with his sister, Penny, and his friendship with Hwan. It was great to see characters from previous books again. Autumn still rocks. I love her.
I loved the suspense part of the story and how the Wyatt’s men all work together. I wouldn’t want to get on their wrong side.
I loved this adventure and its setting. Nightingale rocks in any time period. I'm hoping we haven't seen the last of Gussie, Lucy, and Beauregard. I loved this adventure and its setting. Jordan and Nick’s story is a feel-good friends-to-lovers romance, in which family and friends play a part. This is the first book I’ve read by this author, and I’m now wondering why I didn’t read any sooner!
I enjoyed how different they are with Jordan convinced that no one takes him seriously. I loved the scene where he steps in with Nick’s ex. It’s very him. I liked how it takes him a while to figure out how he feels, and his sexuality. I loved that he and Nick have been best friends forever and how that friendship deepens with their growing relationship.
I loved all the connections within the town with Jordan’s gramps owning the bookstore, and how everyone else wanders through the story, or already has a connection with Jordan and Nick.
Another wonderful visit to Collier’s Creek at Christmas. ...more

This is a wonderful feel-good Christmas reaI love Collier’s Creek, and I enjoyed Sully and Hayes’s story and catching up with familiar faces in town. This is a wonderful feel-good Christmas read, with a focus on family. I love reading about the tree lighting from definitely perspectives with a repeated incident tying them all together.
I loved Sully and Hayes’s instant attraction, which soon becomes complicated by other relationships and work. Hayes’s sweet tooth was a fun reoccurring theme. I liked how the book title reflects that, but not in the way you’d expect. I loved how Hayes finds out who Sully is – it’s a fun scene.
I loved the family dynamics, and also the camaraderie at the fire station, including all the teasing, but totally working as a team and having each other’s backs.
The epilogue rounded off their story well, and tied up a few loose ends regarding family members.
I loved this sweet second chance story. I liked both men, and how they slowly get to know each other, figure out the past, and move forward together. I loved this sweet second chance story. I liked both men, and how they slowly get to know each other, figure out the past, and move forward together.
Although most of Cam and Jake’s story have only them and Cora, the baby, it never dragged, and I quickly found myself invested in their HEA. I liked the way their pasts slowly unfolded along with both sides of what had happened between them years ago. I liked the realism of parenthood with its demands and self-doubts, and how quickly Cam bonds with Cora too.
I liked the part the setting plays, with the isolation and snow bringing them together and giving no room for avoiding their feelings. The descriptions made the cabin and its surroundings easy to imagine. I loved the animal characters too.
Their HEA is sweet, and the perfect ending for an enjoyable read. ...more

I loved the characters, and how they finally work out their feelings for each other. The supporting cast add a layer of enjoyment, and Hank Marvin the parrot has the perfect line for every situation!
I loved the friendships between all the characters, and the banter was great. Joan is wonderful. I loved how she clearly showed her disapproval of Tim in little but obvious ways to everyone but him, and does her part in finally getting Frankie and Con together.
I also liked the fun ongoing gardening issues with the local village gossip. However, the more I heard about Frankie’s late husband, the less I liked him. I liked how that part of the story slowly unfolded with comments and anecdotes. The less said about Tim, the better.
The added epilogue is a wonderful HEA, and well worth the read. It rounds the story out nicely, although I need to read Max’s story now. ...more
